Hermes As Courier BEWARE.
Would like to bring this order to your attention.

Order no xxxxxxxxxx

Order placed
Wednesday 10th February 2021
17.10pm.

I fully understood the order would not be processed until next working day.
Thursday 11th February.

I did however expect my delivery
12th February, as paid for next day delivery. Via DPD.

On checking the app, there was no expected delivery Via DPD.
Then to my disappointment my item was to be delivered via Hermes !.

The item in question, is not even due out for delivery, today 12th February. After a call to my local Hermes depot.
Reporting snow being a factor, in slow delivery service.?
There is no snow as I travelled to Depot..

TrustPilot reviews on Hermes are fake.

"As a long time eBay seller and buyer, I have had countless issues with Hermes. 3 lost parcels and countless damaged ones. Customer service is totally non-existent. I have never managed to recover my money from lost or damaged parcels. They do not even read the complaints. Search the internet and observe how ALL rating sites, except TrustPilot, have 1 star rating for Hermes!"

Useless and rubbish

"My parcel in the tracking system is still coming 4 days now. They sent email saying they will deliver today and after 3 days they send again saying finally today and still nothing. Unbelievable. No communication not even an apology. "

Local driver steals parcels

"Every time I order a large item via hermes, there is a 50/50 chance the driver will write fake non-delivery reports, and wait to see if anyine complains. If there is no complaint, he then steals it and reports it as delivered. This has happens about 5 times now and I tell people never to use them. But sometimes they get used, and I get yet another parcel stolen."

What's the point of Hermes??

"A parcel was supposed to be delivered to me. I get a message saying that it has. I don't have it. I get in touch with them and they send a photo of the parcel in a garage. It's not my garage! I tell them this. They say that they'll look into. And then ....absolutely nothing!

Terrible scammers

"Guys how we open a case against this (thieves) in court?
They don’t allow you to get in touch with them, they steal your money and parcels so how UK enforcement still making this scammers working while they have all these negative complaints?

COVIDIOT

"COVIDIOT - delivery driver didn't keep his distance. When I opened the door he was stood right in front of me and immediately put the parcel straight into my hands. It is easy to put a parcel on a doorstep and then move well back but this guy didn't follow the guidance or use common sense. No excuse for this during a pandemic."

Awful from the start. Lost £650 parcel.

"Booked collection for 04.01.21 failed to collect.
Contacted them. Told to drop off at hermes site as can't guarantee collection!
Dropped parcel at hermes on 05.01.21 got receipt.
06.01.21 Tried to track it but not showing on system. Contacted again. Told they'd get back to me.
Sent email and tried chat service to no avail EVERY DAY from 07.01.21 to 11.01.21 asking them to help and sort. No answer.
Got a human on chat (finally) and after 65mins of going back and forth , they still can't find my £650 parcel. Then told I'd be transferred to a colleague. Now in queue position 4!!!! They do not know where my parcel is or even if collected from hermes collection point.
Do not use. They are a shambles.

Literally the worst.

"I don't think hermes have ever managed to deliver a parcel on time. Somehow every other company manages yet again and again I have issues with hermes. They never update information on the tracking app and their customer service is useless so I never even know what is going on. My latest parcel 5611078304340363 they couldn't deliver for some unbeknownst reason. I provided them more information as asked. Now I have no response, no package still 24 hours later, and literally no clue how to get help. This was an urgent deliver. Have no idea why any companies insist on using hermes."

Horrile service - No communication

"I sent a parcel on 21st December (tracking number : 9702367246488783). The last status update was on 22nd that 'We have got your parcel has been received and we are proceeing it for you'. Since then there is no status update. Its 31st December now. The online chat using a digital assistant keeps repeating the status status and refuses to redirect to a human assistant.
I called the number 0330 808 5456 around 9-11:30am todat (31st Dec) about 5 times, and each time I am asked to give my tracking number and asked to wait when I wanted to speak with a human assistant and the phone line keep playing a music for 30 minutes or so and then hangs up or goes blank.
So I have no way of contacting Hermes.
My customers are cancelling the order and I am losing business. I am unable to conact Hermes.
Its been 10 days now and no status about my parcel !!!
This is horrible. Never ever faced tis kind of service from any courier!

Hermes - God of Thieves

"Hermes - God of Thieves
Two parcels, addressed to two different people living at my house have had parcels "delivered" this week, received a parcel delivered message, with a blurry picture that can only be described as a blob, to show where the parcel was "left"... surprise, no parcel anywhere!!
Hermes are a bunch of thieves, aptly named after the Greek God of Thieves it seems.
Trying to get hold of a real person to find out about the missing parcel, is a long, winding road aorund robots and chat bots, with no real answers in sight.
If we had been out, at all, during the last week I might think that someone else had taken the parcel, but as we have, in accordance with strict Covid rules, been in the whole time, and have two very loud dogs who bark if someone comes close to our house, it is clear that no attempt was made to actually deliver said items!!!
I cannot begin to stress how ridiculous this is, especially at this time of year! We now have two missing christmas presents, with no time to replace them, and some Hermes driver is sitting pretty with a couple of stolen presents!!

Absolute worst customer service - Amazon, John Lewis, M&S, PLEASE drop them

"They are absolutely not committed to ensuring a good customer experience. I just wanted to get in touch with someone at Hermes or add a note to the delivery that our doorbell didn't work yet in our new house and hence they would need to call me, but there was NO way to talk to a human being and the automated system just made me go in circles, so basically I missed the delivery I paid extra to have delivered next day. (even though there was a note on the door explaining all of this). They don't even have an option to write a complaint - they still send you to the automated system (speaking to which seems like arguing with a petulant 3 year old who repeats the same thing over and over and does not listen to a word you say). Their customer service is a joke."

Like always issues!!!

"like always horrible service! I missed the parcel last tuesday. After attempting parcwl they should try to deliver 2 more times.. “next working day”. Yesterday( wednesday) no one even tried to deliver. Today is thursday, got a messege thatvthey gonna tty to deiver my parvel till 8pm. Now time is: 20:08... Nothing... Still waiting..."
