Never got a call or e-mail that the package was here and a ticket wasn't left in the letter box incase a neighbor took the package. Disappointed."

"A parcel I am receiving has been misrouted and over a week later it's still missing. Trouble is you can't actually speak to anyone. They have an online service called Holly which will drive you to suicide before providing any form of help. The phone system is equally as bad. They have tried at all costs to avoid speaking to customers, and I'm yet to find a way to actually do that. Never will I fall in to the trap of using these incapable muppets again."

Do not bother to use "next day delivery" as next day delivery to Hermes means.....well.....whenever they can be bothered to get there. This time (there have been many other times) they used the excuse of "a road traffic accident" slowing them down.......it slowed them down so much that 3 days later there's still no sign of my "next day" delivery. And HOLLY!!! Oh HOLLY....why are you degrading yourself in this way? You know you can't/won't/don't want to help and so send us off on a wild goose chase, round and round saying "hello" to start a new chat because you completely ignored our last request/click/choice of action. It's pathetic. I mean WHY BOTHER? It's also funny after awhile I suppose.....
Hermes used to have "live chat" if you needed help with something. I remember a few years ago joining "live chat" about ANOTHER missing parcel and finding that there were over 450 other people waiting before me with the same idea!!! I mean that tells us EVERYTHING we need to know doesn't it?! Quite wisely(from their point of view) they seem to have got rid of the "live chat" option. In fact they've now got rid of ALL customer service options. They literally have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. They can't deny it. I have tried repeatedly over the last 3
days to get HOLLY to pass my complaint on to someone.....anyone......without success.......all she want's me to do is say "hello" over an over again.....
Well I won't be saying hello ever again to you Holly....in actual fact I'm saying Goodbye...FOREVER....I will now contact the company I am buying from to ascertain if they will be using Hermes to attempt to deliver my items and if they are then I'm afraid I will be explaining to them that I will not order from them on this occasion and never will until they can Guarantee to me they won't use Hermes ever again.....
In short ; ) DO NOT USE HERMES FOR ANYTHING.

"Every time Hermes have a parcel to deliver to me, they leave it by the lift on the ground floor. Rather than take the lift, the courier leaves it in full view of anyone who comes into the building. On the last two occasions the parcels have been taken and each time Hermes tell me it won't happen again. Why won't they take the lift and deliver to my door. Jesus, I'm paying for deliver."

These instructions ignored today despite contact with the seller requesting refund if delivery instructions ignored.
Parcel left with neighbour today against my request of leaving parcel behind side gate/fence.
My neighbour works night shifts and does not want to be disturbed by a parcel being delivered against delivery instructions. I am not able to take deliveries during the delivery times offered. I will not be using any seller that uses Hermes."
"Please teach your drivers to knock in a polite manner like every other delivery company manages. The noise that I can only describe as ‘booting the door’ is rude and unprofessional. Knock or use the bell - it’s very simple. Maybe add a ‘manners’ section into the basic training too. Absolutely mortified with the service received today. I hate to think of the fright the delivery driver caused elderly customers."

We now attempt to check if people we shop with use hearmese ,if they do we don't buy from them . They try but can't get it right,delivery men don't ring doorbell or use knocker,just leave parcel on doorstep "
"Out of about six parcels sent over the period of a couple of weeks, two arrived damaged even though they were very well packed, it makes me wonder if the couriers play football with them, when I made a claim it turns out that the list of excluded items is so comprehensive that Hermes are able to get away with not paying compensation for anything, it seems as if the only items not on the exclusions list is the box you send it in. "11 parcels didn’t arrive. Complained to Hermes, 4 weeks later they said ‘terribly sorry but our self employed driver refuses to drive down your road, so we’ve arranged for your parcels to be delivered by one of our vans within 48 hours’. 2 weeks later, still no parcels, response from Hermes ‘terribly sorry but we’ve lost all your parcels please go back to the retailers to claim a refund’ (all 11!!). And it now appears that any parcels shipped via Hermes will not get delivered and I’ll have to wait 3 weeks before I can get a refund. Shocking service and shocking customer service. I get about 10 parcels a week from DHL, Amazon, Yodel, Royal Mail, UPS etc and have never had a problem with a single one, only Hermes!"
