"Purchased a Sharp Aquos lcd tv. The tv arrived as promised. It was broken on arrival.
I contacted Sharp and refurbdepot and got through right away. You do not get an invoice witht the shipment, but they do email it to you. This is probably because they dropship their packages from the factory (Sharp in this case). I now have my tv in the repair shop under warranty.
I do not blame the fact that the tv was broken on refurbdepot, this is a Sharp issue not refurbdepot.
I would buy with them again."

On 11/3/05 I received another email stating that the order would be delayed another 5-6 days. Their website listed this item as in stock. They lied. They never had this item and customer service had no idea when they would get it in. I understand that this is refurb equipment and depends on the manufacturer shipping it to them, but come on! "What an awful experience ! Ordered a emachine laptop, and 3 year extended warranty, spent over $1350. Thought i would save myself a few hundred bucks, and not have the hassle of mail in rebates. Ordered on a thursday, they said they would ship on friday. On the tuesday, the order was still processing. Tried to call, but there was a recording saying they were closed due to holidays, but no mention of this on their website, or when i spoke to them. I've heard nothing but bad things about this company. Stay clear !"
"STAY AWAY, far away! They sold me a Sharp Aquos TV THEY DID NOT HAVE. Then, they let my order languish for a week, with no notification, until I finally checked my order status. I could have bought one elsewhere during that time, and would have, because I was under a time crunch! Seems definitely a fly-by-night operation."

"I've read many reviews here of this company. For what it's worth, I ordered a Polaroid portable DVD player from this vendor, and it was delivered to my home five days later. The unit works fine. I also ordered an extended warranty with Mack Camera through Refurb Depot. At first I was concerned that there was no extended warranty paperwork in the box with the unit (also no sales receipt/invoice). I called Refurb Depot, they answered the phone promptly and indicated the paperwork would be mailed to me. I received the invoice and the extended warranty information in the timeframe they indicated on the phone. I know many consumers have had problems with this vendor, so either they are turning themselves around or I got lucky.."

I made an order on 11/25/2003 and 2 weeks later the order was still processing. When I called to check they told me that they have been very busy and if I wanted the shipping earlier I had to pay for it. So I canceled my order."
"I purchased a reufurbished HP d145 printer from RefurbDepot on nov. 13 2003. They shipped next day, the item arrived in a HP Refurbished box, factory sealed. The Item I purchased did not work correctly (this was no fault of Refurbdepot, it appears HP didn't try quite hard enough to fix the issue before sending the unit back out), I contacted HP support to trouble shoot the unit, it turned out to be a hardware issue, HP sent me to refurbdepot for an exchange. This is where I was truly impressed, Refurbdepot has a program with HP where HP will send you a unit in advance, at no charge from HP! I was extrememly happy to hear this, I didn't even have to pay for shipping! And unlike many Ineternet vendors that do not publish a telephone number, or just don't answer their phones, Refurbdepot picked up on the 3rd ring. So far I am very happy with them as a vendor, however disapointed in HP's refurbished equipment. To end with I have to say Refurbdepots cutomer service has been fantastic, mostly due to the effort put forth by Stacy from the Customer Service departmnet, she periodically sent me an email to find out the status of my support case and to see if they can be of assitance! Very good customer service, kudos to Stacy! Thank you."
