Product does not protect your iPod Touch, looks cute, but ours peeled off within a month and they won't refund your money (or exchange which we of course didn't want) without the product returned. It took their Customer Response Dept so long to respond we threw the curled up mess away. They obviously don't stand by their product or care about keeping customers. Ridiculous!"

"I talked to customer service multiple times and they were very unhelpful. I bought a white skin for my ipad and a clear protective screen cover. The white skin absorbed black from a case I put it in. Not sure why it would absorb color from felt...it looked horrible and I ended up having to tear it off. Such a waste of money. The protective screen cover could not be applied without getting any airbubbles in it. I ended up having to go pay $40 to get one put on at the mall. Very disappointed with my experience with Skinit."
"I was very pleased with my first order from Skinit. I ordered a customized skin for my Samsung gravity 3,with in 3 to 4 days my order arrived i put it on fine,and and year later it still looks great!Not to mention it has kept my phone looking new too!!!!

My original issue with my SkinIt order was generously and promptly resolved, by their Tier 2 Customer Service team! It's great to see that their customers really DO matter. My exchange is in-process. They have acquired a repeat customer.
Horrible customer service policy! Yes, I am now aware they have a 30-day return/exchange policy, however most companies, who value their customers, have a little flexibility in their return/exchange guidelines during the holidays, as products are ordered as gifts. I ordered early (in November), to insure delivery in time for Christmas. I ordered my young teen son the Rice Owls SkinIt he had written on his very short Christmas wish list. It wasn't until Christmas morning, that my husband surprised our son with a new model phone.....I had no previous knowledge of this purchase. I contacted SkinIt, asking if I may exchange our current item for one that would fit the new phone. However, I was informed that my order falls outside their 30-day exchange policy and they are "sorry for any inconvenience." I was then told to "Have a nice day!" I do most of my shopping on-line, am not a fussy customer, nor do I have a warped sense of entitlement, expecting rules to be enforced for everyone, but myself. Still, in all my consumer years, I have never encountered such an inflexible, black/white, hard-core approach to policy, by customer service.... Or, in my case, customer NON-service! It's quite apparent to me that SkinIt isn't looking for repeat customers.
P.S. the only reason I'm giving SkinIt one star is because this system won't allow me to give them a rating of zero stars!"

"All in all had a good experience. One of the skins I got hadn't been thoroughly cut out, so when I peeled it off the printing separated from the adhesive and it was a lost cause. Called customer service and got a typical third-party foreign agent who wasn't very helpful in sending a replacement - said I would have to wait 48 hours for someone to call me back. Ended up just RMAing it (they have a satisfaction guarantee) and ordered the same one right away. The skins are really high quality material (the 3M stuff they skin cars with) and the second skin I got went on very easily."
"Purchased two gift cards, supposed to be a Christmas gift. Never got them. E-mailed twice, no response. Online account still says "pending". Called and got a broken-English speaking rep who said the cards were sent the same day as my order, and that the "pending" was just an error. Also told me I would be contacted within 24-48 hours for resolution, either by phone or e-mail.
NO contact has been made. Sent two more e-mails, I'm done. Calling my bank tomorrow. AVOID."
"I ordered from dell.skinit.com which I believe is still part of skinit.com and not Dell. Anyhow, they had a special going on for the holidays where you get like 10% off. I accidentally ordered without adding the promo code. I e-mailed them immediately after asking if it was too late to add it to my order, and they responded back six days later saying it was too late, but since my order has not been shipped yet I could cancel and reorder. Six days and my order wasnt even shipped?
That irked me a bit. I replied saying that I wanted this thing within the next 45 days so I wasnt going to cancel. They replied with "Thank you for your inquiry. We apologize for the inconvenience caused to
you. As far as the discount is concerned I will escalate your concern to
the Tier II department and they will get in touch with you in the next 24
to 48 business days. If you have any further questions or concerns please
feel free to contact us again."
That came 5 days ago. Big surprise that I didnt see an email. Anyhow, the skin came, it looks good. Im satisfied with the product, but quite upset with the speed of things and lack of true customer service. Dont use this service if you need it anytime soon. Other than that, the products are great."
"Today is Oct 12, 2007 and have yet to receive my order. Have been given the run around by there customer NO service. They blame UPS & THE POSTAL SERVICE and tell me to keep waiting until Oct 15 before they can investigate further. Will never use this company again and just want a refund which now will take another 30 days. STAY AWAY"
"Purchased a 14.1" WS Chargers (go Chargers!!! :-) laptop skin for my notebook (Asus A8 series) and was shipped within 2 business days. The skin arrived in a round tube cardboard mailer, I had to place a book on top of the skin overnight to flatten it out. Their skins are beautiful and look AWESOME in person and are very well made, not some el cheapo generic crap. FYI they are located in San Diego, CA (Sorrento Valley area) if anyone is curious. I contacted their customer service via e-mail before I made my purchase as I had a question about the physical dimensions of their laptop skins. It took them close to a week to respond which was pretty long, however they did apoligize that it took them that long to respond. I also called their 1-800 customer service number and was put on hold for 5-10 minutes. The customer serivice rep was very friendly over the phone.
Overall their website has LOTS of different designs for whatever device you are looking to buy a skin for. However I was somewhat dissapointed that they don't list the physical dimensions of their laptop skins. For items like specific cell phones models, laptops, etc. the physical dimensions wouldn't matter too much as they are guaranteed to fit. However for people that don't have a already listed laptop model number on their website this could be a deal-breaker."
