We recently purchased an Alston Pro Chassis which arrived by UPS truck freight. Two of the rails were damaged and Summit is sending me two new rails at no charge only one day after contacting them. This is the kind of customer service I grew up with but don't easily find now days. Thank you Tonya in customer service for helping me!"

"Ordered a carb from Summit back in mid October. This Carb was back ordered to 11/2. I had not heard anything from them, no email or call, nothing, so I contacted them on 11/9. After ten minutes of listing and fighting with auto bots I was told that my order was now back ordered to 12/20!!!!!!!! I canceled the order and ask to speak to a manager, was told "You cannot speak to a manager!" This company does not care about you or your business, BEWARE STAY FAR AWAY FROM SUMMIT RACING! "we ordered a fuel pump on wednesday & were told it would be here on thursday. It didnt show up. We took the gas tank down & pulled the old fuel pump, expecting the new fuel pump to arrive today, friday. After waiting til 4pm, we called Summit to ask where the new pump is. We were told the order was never processed!!! We ended up going to a nearby Advanced Auto, paying $40 more & buying a new fuel pump."

"I purchase some parts from Summit Racing and immediately cancelled my order as their site navigation brought me to the wrong parts and then when they returned my money they ripped me off saying that it was from u.s. to Canadian conversion and that it's not their responsibility this companies absolutely terrible I've spent thousands of dollars with their company over the years many many parts bought for my customers from this company and I will no longer submit my customers to the terrible parts that come out of summit racing this company should be closed not only are all their parts subpar and from China they have no warranty whatsoever and when you try to return them they rip you off I suggest nobody uses this company ever buy locally because this is what happens when you buy from Americans"

"Catastrophic engine failure, all top end parts purchased together as "kits" from Summit. Though there were very few miles, time had run out on manufactures warranty. They said I could call the Manufacture myself......nice, I'm not their customer. How about working with me a little on replacement parts.....uh no. How about helping a little with a discount on parts for another build? Uh no, we don't do that. They said they would have a supervisor call me, some ahole sent a **** email basically saying they were willing to do nothing, nothing at all, to bad so sad."

"It's taken well over a month to even get in contact with the right agent, and then, they refuse to reimburse parts or submit claim to the part manufacturer for the manufacturer reimbursement of labor cost accumulated installing defective parts. After a frustratingly long phone argument, I was hung up on by the "right agent" mentioned above, and all further calls were ignored and sent to voicemail. After tracking down someone with contact information for the executive team, I did manage to get a refund on the part, and an assurance that I can pay another $800 in labor replacing whichever part I now purchase (from another company, you can bet) and mail the defective parts to them. But why would I bother? They specifically told me the manufacturer refuses to reimburse that labor, even though there's a process for doing so... Unless I pay the labor myself, "or," as they were so uncaring enough to suggest "you can do it yourself. We don't care that you took it to a shop, that's not our responsibility to reimburse." All in all, BUYER BEWARE OF POOR-TO-NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. THIS COMPANY WON'T STAND BEHIND THE PRODUCTS THEY SELL... NOT WITHOUT A FIGHT."

"PLEASE Stay away from this company. Don’t even think about buying anything from summit racing. Ordered a jacket and had to return it because it was the wrong sfi rating. I needed a sfi 3.2a/5 instead of the 3.2a/1 I ordered. So soon as I got the package I drove it right back to the post office to send it back. Figured it would take about 2-3 days because it’s shipping out of VA to Ohio. A few days go past and I call to see what’s up. Customer service reps keep offering me other jackets and I’m like no I want the summit racing multi layer jacket so shipping states that I sent it back. To find out it takes two weeks to ship a 3lb jacket maybe less. It took about 2 days to get here. I call back and demand my money back and they basically say F**** you you aren’t getting your money back.Please stay away. I will be also filing a police report and a dispute with my bank. Great Job losing a customer. "
