Thank you for taking the time to post and Travelex appreciates you bringing any concerns to our attention.
With regards to your concern about the high premium, our protection plan rates are based on 3 factors: age, trip cost, and trip length (same plan cost for a U.S. Citizen living in Europe or living in the U.S.). For trips longer than 30 days, there is an additional cost of $8 per day, per person for each day over 30. Looking at your trip details, I can see the majority of the premium you paid for your plan was due to the length of the trip (129 days).
Travelex makes every effort to review all concerns from our clients and we hope this provides clarification on why the premium was higher than you anticipated. We hope you will think of Travelex the next time you are looking to insure your travel!
