"I ordered a dyson DC31 from yugster for about $135 and was surprised to find it is a refurbished unit with scratches on the bottom of the unit. Turns out they did mention refurbished (once) in the product description. The item has a defect so I contacted yugster via email. Within a day I received a reply. They offered me either a refund or a replacement. I choose a replacement. They said they will send me a prepaid mailing label. Let's see what happens...
Then I was told they no longer have replacement, so they sent me the label for a return/refund. I sent the item back and told them so, and received the refund before the item even reached them!"

"I've bought 5 things from them so far and have been extremely satisfied. Shipping was slow but it was free so can't complain much."

"Well, this is an incomplete review because I ordered 13 days ago and still haven't received my purchase. It took 6 days to ship, and somehow has taken 8 days in transit. I didn't even know that there was a shipping company that could take that long. Do they pay extra to make it slower than normal? After 4 days of preshipping, I contacted customer and they said it would ship that day, but it took two more days to go out.

The only plus is that customer service responded quickly, even if they gave me bad information."

"Terrible company with false advertising. I bought a Samsung netbook from them claiming to have a 90 day warranty from the manufacturer. Recieved the item defective out of the box. Found out no warranty and they won't refund shipping charges and pay for a return label. I would have never bought it if it did not come with the warranty. "

"I bought an xbox on 2/28/09 that was suppose to be a re-certified xbox with 1 year warranty. I called Microsoft today to repair the E74 message that popped up only to find Yugster sold me a pre registered xbox with a warranty that had expired that very month.

The listing said nothing about the xbox being used or that it was already registered thus voiding the standard warranty.

I will be taking them to small claims court."

"I would recommend that you not purchase any refurbished electronic items from Yugster. I bought a Logitech Logitech Pure-Fi Express Plus Omnidirectional Speaker Dock that was advertised as "refurbished". I have purchased many refurbished products before. They come in plain boxes and, up to now, look very good. Their unit came in the retail box, it was taped shut with clear tape, there were numerous places on the box where an area had been cut out, and the unit was very scuffed up. I think it was clear that this was not a refurbished unit. It was used and simply placed back in the retail box. This could not have been an accident. It works and I have given it to my daughter, but I asked for a response from them. In their defense, they offered a $5 credit or an RMA but as they were a "deal a day" site they could not provide a replacement. I will leave it up to you to judge them based on these facts. Personally, I feel that, without an explanation for how they advertised something as refurbished and sent me something just used, I will not be doing business with them again."
