"Never again. Made a JFK parking reservation weeks in advance. Way.com changed my reservation to another nearby lot several days before my flight and let me know - cool. Showed up at that lot a few hours before my flight and was informed by the lot that due to a recent snowstorm, they could not take my car - said they had called way.com five times to let them know they could not accommodate. Called way.com and they said they could do nothing about it, just refund my money. I understand the snow was unexpected, but if way.com had emailed me ahead of time, I would have had time to make other accommodations - even emailed me that there might be a problem due to snow and given me the opportunity to make other arrangements. Unacceptable, I will never use way.com again. Unreliable, caused us huge problems."
"We went on vacation and valet our car there for 2 weeks, came back late in the evening to pickup the car and drove home. We didn't realize until the next day that all the valuables we stolen out of the glove compartment. Items stolen included cellphone car charger, LED flashlights, pocket knife, digital tire pressure gauge, first aid kit, sunglasses pouch, even my note pad and the small touch-up paint for the car! I called and filed a complaint but was told by their insurance company that since there was no break-in or damage to the car, they won't cover any lost items inside the vehicle. I also called the company directly to complain, but wasn't given any helpful solution. By the way, the garage has no surveillance cameras. Don't leave your car there with thieves as employees!"
"we booked online. when we arrived the morning of jan 14 the lot was locked, no attendant on duty, no notice, nothing. completely desolate area, not a soul in sight. we had to park our car at long term parking at jfk airport and way.com refuses to give us a refund. save your money and aggravation and find another alternative."
"I had prepaid and reserved my spot ahead of time. Upon arrival there were no spots to park. After calllinf they rebooked me, with a shuttle to the airport going to take 30 mins instead of 5-10 as advertised. I missed my check in cut off (1 hour before international flights) & had to park long term at SFO. Paid even more for rescheduling my flights. All for a bargain parking spot...Never again. "
"This website is a complete scam. I purchased a week at a parking lot near the SeaTac airport. When I get to the address provided in my confirmation email, I was shocked to find that there was no longer a commercial parking lot there. Instead it was a locked parking area attached to the creepiest looking mobile park that was in ruins. I called the Way customer service number and left two messages on what seemed like someone's personal voice mail. I sent an email to the Way customer service account as well and received no response.
Only after I filed a dispute with my bank and 1.5 months later did I receive a call from Mathilda at Way asking me to retract my bank dispute in return for a refund and Way bucks. No thank you! I will never use this shady business again. This website is a complete scam. Do not trust them with your money! "
"Made a reservation for parking about a month prior to the trip. Got an e-mail from Way.com a couple of days prior to my trip stating that I made a reservation for a different parking garage. Luckily, I had my first reservation confirmation letter saved. So, I noticed that it was a different parking garage right away. Called a parking garage, asked if they had me on the list and they didn't. They recommended me to contact Way.com for clarification. So, I did a couple of times. Way.com was not helpful at all. They said that the first parking garage was full, therefore I was transferred to a different one without asking me about it. They kept telling me that they were resending my confirmation to the parking garage, but every time I called the parking garage, they still didn't have my confirmation. Finally, I called way.com again and said that I would rather change a parking garage, because of those problems and also because the shuttle is supposed to come every 30 minutes to the parking garage to pick us up from and to the airport as oppose every 15 minutes that was supposed to be with the first parking garage that was reserved before. Way.com instructed me to cancel my reservation without checking if other parking garages the dates for my parking. After I cancelled my reservation, I couldn't find any other parking garages available for me to park. Way.com couldn't help me at all!!!!
Eventually, I found a different parking garage without Way.com where the shuttle comes promptly to pick up customers and has a great customer service!"
