"I placed an order June 2020. Received 2 (dead and moldy Iris bulbs on September. Two other orders was out of stock .Did not get any email to inform me about short order. They refund the money for the 2 items /out if stock But the 2 bulbs I planted dated Sept ember , showing no sign of growth..roots are dried and bulbs are soft.as of today October 10.2020. VERY Diisappointing,waiting for so long just to get a bad product! Not a very good customer experience from Becks!"
"They delayed the shipment and then delayed again and again. Finally said one item is out of stock, but NO REFUND. Today the plants arrived and, surprise, they are dead. Out of the 10 I ordered there is a slim chance 3 or 4 may survive, but they are so dried out it is doubtful.
They have the nerve to blame all of this on the virus crisis. How does a virus impact sending out dead plants? I really wish I found this link before I ordered. Sadly, I confused their name with another company that starts with a "B" and just went it.

"On June 15 I ordered two items for fall planting. The first arrived in early August and the emailed shipping confirmation said the balance of the order was estimated to ship August 31. On September 15 I followed-up and was told the items would ship in March, or nine months after I placed the order. I was waiting for my order so that I could begin fall planting. No one at Breck's bothered to phone, email, or send a letter telling me they did not have the items I ordered months ago. Customer service was terrible, as well. I had to punch through an initial menu, then the overseas customer service representative insisted on confirming every bit of my contact information despite the fact they had my order number and could have simply told me the order wasn't coming as scheduled. Other nurseries have stock as good as Breck's and service that is even better. I will not be ordering again from Breck's."
"I ordered miniature hollyhocks. We didn't get them until the middle of June. I planted them that day and called today to say there is no sign of plant growth to which the service person responded I have to wait 4 more weeks. That means these biennials will have no substantial plant growth in the first year (if they are even alive). I also bought baby's breath. I have no idea if they will grow but at least I can get them from my local nursery next spring. I will not purchase plants again from Breck's."
"It took four weeks for delivery. I ordered ten plants. Not one of them came up. I asked for their lifetime guaranteed money back two weeks ago via email. I have yet heard from them."

"Ordered product in Mar received in mid April. Planted and they still have not come up by Jun 1st. Call customer service was told to wait another 6 weeks for them to come up. Asked for refund, they only give store credits. I purchased from them years ago and they were okay. Will never purchase again. My order was over $250 and I get this kind of service. They should shut the doors and the customer should look elsewhere. Save your self the stress of buying from them."
"Well, they delivered on time and all of the bulbs grew. This was a gift for my mom, and if course she says she loves the basket anyways. But they make it sound like you're going to get cool new daffodils. One plain yellow daffodil came up, and the rest were red tulips."
"I ordered 50.00 worth of plants from Breck's. I did get a confirmation email but nothing had shipped in a week. I emailed customer service and they responded TWO weeks later saying they were sorry. They said some were shipping from Holland but some would not ship til fall. Why did they charge my credit card immediately? Why did they not respond until it was too late for me to cancel or dispute the charge? Worse online ordering service ever! ZERO stars!"
"Ordered bulb garden for elderly parent. No description with pot of dirt so parent called me questioning what it was. After a month passed with no sign of life in the bulb container, she dug up the bulbs and found they were shriveled and moldy. Company sent me a replacement certificate that apparently is a worthless piece of paper. It comes up as having been used on my order already."
"I received a box with opened packages of bulbs loose in the box all items were wrong, all Allium's , I ordered all Lily's and Iris.
I called customer service spoke with Jellica, she had a difficult time understanding that I was shipped someone else's order.
I was told my order was shipped so I would need to keep it. I would not be credited for the mistake in the warehouse. I demanded a full credit on my credit card, again Jellica said I can only give you credit on your next order. As I will never order again from this Co. , that was not acceptable. I asked to speak to the supervisor and was told he is busy. I stated that I would wait as long as it took, but would talk to him. Jellica decided she could now process a credit to my card. If the credit is not received I will Call Brecks back."

I ordered a tree to go to a friend in a nursing home on November 20th. It was clearly labeled that it was "In Stock."
December 9 I get an email saying my order is cancelled because it is "out of stock."
I am sure my order went to an "important business customer" because the guy who delivers the office supplies is more important than the person with nothing in the nursing home who could use some cheering up.
Shame on Breck's Gifts. I will never consider them again.
They offered a whole whopping $5 for my inconvenience. The next similar item available was $30 more than what I had ordered. Not doable on my budget.

"I ordered several items marked IN STOCK. they kept my money over a month and then informed me all items out of stock. The inventory system seems poor an by the time I found out I had no bulbs coming it was too late to order elsewhere.I was able to find Some of the bulbs at Eden Brothers and had my order in less than a week!"
"Ordered flowers for elderly women in hospital! Flowers never arrived! 2 weeks later the tell me they shipped! Chargeback coming!
