"Deepdiscountdvd has great prices and always free shipping. My DVD collection is continualy expanding thanks to their low prices and large selection. Occasionaly I find a DVD I order is not in stock, but they provide estimated ship by dates. All the back ordered DVDs have shipped before their estimated date. I have never been charged for an item before it has shipped. This has become my sole source of DVD's."

"Attempted to order a present for my brother(a film buff) last christmas. About a week and a half later(right before christmas), I was informed that the item they said was in stock was not in stock, but would be sent in a month or more. The website still listed it as in stock. Okay, I just asked them to cancel my order and that is that. 3 months later, I notice a charge of $9 on my credic card from shopper discount. When calling the number to ask what it was, and to get refunded, the lady mentioned that by purchasing something from deep discount DVD, I had somehow approved shopper discount to bill me for something I was unaware I ever asked for/was at all affiliated with this site. The people at deep discount dvd won't confirm anything, but buyers should beware of possible being fraudulently charged by a company that deep discount has given your sensitive information to. I cannot be certain as to who is telling the truth, but there is no way shopperdiscount could have had any knowledge of my transaction with deep discount dvd unless they were provided it by them... I would advise everyone to STAY AWAY from this site."

"I read some previous reviews that made me hesitant. But, I went ahead and ordered over 200 dollars worth of DVD's and received them in a week. The price was right and items were packaged well. No problems. I will probably do business with DDD again. The only minus I found, is that you don't know if items are in stock until you place order. I called and asked availability before I sent order through the web.
UPDATE: 3 weeks later, I ordered 2 more DVD's and received them in a week. I am very happy with DDD.
NEW UPDATE: 3 months later, I ordered another DVD & received item promptly. Buyer does have to be careful not to click "yes" to optional ten dollar offer during ordering. (There is a "no" option, farther down webpage.) So far, I've had no problems with DDD."

"Very good service, phone support and email support are both good. the only bad thing I can say (and its minor)is that their inventory isn't updated on their site in real time ,if it is out of stock they'll e mail you within 24 hours and let you decide whether you want to cancel or not.which is okay with me I've had much better luck with these guys than all direct they are terrible in comparison."

"I am very unhappy with this website. I purchased a CD for my son on Jan. 25th. for Valentines Day. He really wanted this particular CD. I thought three weeks was enought time to get it shipped in time for Valentine's Day. Two days after I placed my purchase I went back to the site to check the status of my order and found out the CD I ordered was out of stock and on back order. There was no notification on the item's description page that it was out of stock, nor were there any indications of such throughout the checkout process. If I had known that the CD was out of stock I would have either chosen something different or gone to another site. I kept checking the order status every few days to see if the CD had been re-stocked, but evertime I went they moved my ship date back. The CD finally shipped today (Feb. 11) and there is no way my son will get it in time for Valentine's Day. I emailed the company explaining how upset I was that I was sold an item that they didn'thave and that it would arrive in time for Valentines Day. I got back two automative emails with no explination or appologies to make me feel like a real human even glanced at what I had sent. I feel like I was "tricked" into buying something under false pretenses. There needs to be clear information on the item's description page and throughout the checkout process to inform customers on the status of the products they are selling. I would have rather paid twice as much for a CD and shipping if I can get it in a timely manner and know what I'm getting myself into ahead of time. I will not be purchasing anything from this website again."

"I placed an order with these guys that they claimed to have shipped on Jan 18, saying 5 to 10 day delivery. Two weeks later, nothing had arrived. I contacted them asking what was going on and requesting that they either give me a tracking number so that I could verify the package was actually shipped or give me a refund. They refused to do either and said wait another week. I did, still nothing. I contacted them again and demanded a refund. They ignored me. I finally had to dispute the charge through my credit card company to get my money back."
