"This is the last time I order a used game from either ebgames or gamestop. Ebgames used to be excellent with their used games almost always offering cases and instructions, gamestop was a different story. Now that gamestop bought ebgames the condition has become that of gamestop's used games. How can they charge near full price for a used game that just came out and not ship it in original boxes with instructions? You sure can't sell it to them in that condition! There is now no DECENT HONEST reseller of used games (well maybe gamefly). Gamestop was so smart to take ebgames' name to the toilet with them...it's time someone flushed the both of them."

"i placed an order august 6th and it still hasnt arrived when it came to choosing a shipping method it wasnt clear what shipping method i was getting i ended up choosing the cheapest method but that was also the worst method as evidence i still havent recieved the emrchandise on top of that they tell me the carrier wont be asking me for my signature that is very bad suppose the carrier drops it off soemwhere anyone can walk off with it ... which is less likely to happen iof they get a signature
definitly the service of eb games has gone down in the last 2 years it used to be the only place i would go but now im too peeved"

"It is rediculous that I got an opened PS2 game with all scratches on it where they claim it is brand new when I order it! I think they just reseal their items and pretend they are brand new! I complaint and never get my refund! they are such a loser"

"We just received our order for a refurbished Game Boy Advance. I was a little leery about not having a color choice and I don't know if it was the game titles we picked (Nancy Drew: Message in a Haunted Mansion and Barbie Groovy Games) or the personal birthday message to our daughter but you shipped a PINK GameGirl - THAT IS SO FRIGGIN' COOL! Her favorite color to boot. Thank you so much, I know a birthday girl that is going to be stoked - EB Games rocks!

"I oredered a gamecube, xtra controller, mem card & 3 games at hteir online site to send to my grandson in FL. I paid for 2-day shipping, w/online 'promise' items woul.d be shipped within 24 hours, so should have been recd today. I call daughter and no pkg. so, I click on status at their site and learn order on hold for verification. Nothing in my confirm email, nothing explaining what this means online. I call their srvice number and the rep states they sent me an emai about it. I reread 2 emails from them, a welcome one and confirmation of order; neither mention any hold. Rep says you just have to call your bank and add that address?!?! NO - I order TONS online and never any such requirement. Toolate for order to reach grandosn for bday, so canceled order and will purchase anywhere BUT EB Games. I jnust had bought similar set for another grandson locallyt in store and anyone could have been using my credit card, so security is BS. They screwed up. Lost a good customer who will probably be buying much agme stuff with three grandchildren - so no thought of future customer sales ....just excuses"

"For everyones information. DON'T order through EB Games using a debit card if you dont have enough money on your account for another one, and have sent it in for exchange. They WILL BILL your account for the second game then refund it, and if your funds are not big enough and you go under into the negative territory your bank WILL OVERDRAFT CHARGE you for it!! I had a HELL OF A TIME trying to get the them to pay the overdraft fees and still haven't been refunded the money!! Over 10 emails and 3 phone calls!!
Plus I also have to agree with another persons comment about trade in games!! I have a BRAND NEW GAME still in this original cellophane that I wanted to trade in to EB Games and they will only give me $22 dollars for it!! But I saw this game being sold for $54.95 AT THERE STORE a few weeks before. Plus this is a SPECIAL game, not available in stores type of game!! It was a PROMO game that came direct from nintendo!!
Ripping people off, that DEFINATELY TRUE!!"

"this place is horrible and I had my wrost online purchase experience from my last order with them. I bought a PS2 game that is supposed to be in stock, then after waited for 2 weeks with some ridiculous excuses from them, I got a notice saying my order will be shipped soon. Then after a week again, I got my order, in completely shocking condition! the game is a used piece!!!! it is not brand new! this is crazy and I am still on my way to get my money back! this is really shocking, they tried to rip the customers off by selling used items and pretending they are new!? VERY DISAPPOINTING, will never buy from them again!"

"I tend to only shop at EB in person, but EBGames just happened to have the lowest price on a certain brand new game, $5 off everywhere else, including retail, so the decision to buy from them was easy.
The entire order went without any hitches. Shipping time wasn't superb, but it was perfectly reasonable. Other than that, there's nothing else I can really say about them."

"this is really annoying! this ebgame business is being very dishonest. Not to mention they always do trade-in for the used games to ripoff the gamers, but they resell these games and pretend they are new!!! I got my game PS2 from them, supposed to be brand new but it is not!!! the back of the DVD is full of scratches!!!! it is a used piece! they just seal it back and pretend that it is new!! this place is crazy!! I complaint and I got my refund, and I will never buy from them again! very dishonest and disappointing!"
