Elite seals are prestigious banners given to retailers who are loved by their customers. To get one, a retailer has to consistently get high scores over time
"The process of selling my phone to Gazelle was easy--and I received more money that they initially offered once they saw the excellent condition of y phone. Payment was instantaneous \."
"DO NOT SELL TO THIS COMPANY!! They will try everything in their power to punish you and give you $0 for your device, no matter the condition. After multiple sketchy customer support emails and being on hold for 30 minutes for multiple people, including a senior support staff member, to tell me that there was "nothing they could do" and that I had to either accept/decline the offer of $0. With every interaction they decreased the value of my device, and now are telling me to basically F*** off. This business practices shady dealings. I would only recommend if you wish to be screwed over. I have reported this company to the BBB and highly recommended and suggest others do as well."
Was skeptical, but it’s legit. Great value for phone that wouldn’t turn on
"Great would use again. I was skeptical about using this service, but it was super quick and easy. I never even leave reviews lol but hope this helps someone that’s also iffy. Gave me more than I thought I would get for inactive / broken phone $160 :)) very satisfied thanks gazzeleee"
"Gazelle gives you a nice-looking offer when you initially look to sell your device to them, but after sending it in, they will make up all kinds of excuses to lower the value you were quote by over half.
They first claimed my Unlocked phone was an "Other" carrier, which it wasn't, as it was purchased Factory Unlocked.
Then they claimed it was so scratched and scuffed that it was in the "Faulty" category even though the images on the website showed a device in Scratched or even Good condition matching my device.
I have lots of experience in the phone resell business and would absolutely stay away. Please go to somewhere else like Decluttr, Itsworthmore, Buybackworld, or Buybackboss instead, they will take care of you. You'll be wasting your time dealing with Gazelle."
Rarely write reviews, but excellent experience with Gazelle made me!
"I got the box fairly fast after submitting my iPhone's condition online which was also in minutes. Pre-paid shipping label was in a foam-protected box. I simply put my phone in the box, sealed it, and dropped of at the USPS store. I got my money within 1 -2 weeks or so. Just so worry-free, hassle-free. The instructions and interfaces were concise. Will use Gazelle again!"
"Bought a phone on Black Friday as a Christmas gift. Once the person received the phone it began shutting off and it has hardware issues. Company won't do anything because it's just outside the 30 period. This company is terrible"
"I had to wait almost two weeks for the package to get delivered to you by usps and any time I would reach out for help I was just told to wait. It was not a good experience at all"
"I Was Scammed
I went with good intention trying to sell my iPhone pro max 128gb to this gazelle, which I was the only owner and the phone was like new condition. They emailed me a shipping label which I printed of on Dec 12. On Dec 14th the device was mailed to them. I was provided with a tracking number showing my device was delivered to their warehouse in Processing Center 7213 Global Drive Zip 40258 in Louisville Ky. According to the post office they PICKED up my phone on Dec 16th 2023 at 2:55pm. I waited to reach out by email on Dec 19th. They responded saying they have no record of my transaction. My transaction was cancelled after I mailed in my device. I provided imei number, talked to 2 people on different occasions to try to get my phone back. I provided them with all documentation of this transaction. No one has contacted me or really tried to help with located my device. This was an horrible experience and now I have no iPhone or no offer. Terribley disappointed.
Date of experience: December 10, 2023"
"Gazelle gave me a great experience from start to end, even when USPS lost my package for two weeks in the middle. Gazelle was professional and promised to reimburse me after following the proper procedure. Luckily my package was eventually found and delivered and the payment was promptly sent to me. I would definitely consider Gazelle again, though I might advise them to not use USPS in the future."
"This is the third phone over the years I have sold back to Gazelle. Way better than throwing it in a drawer and having it become useless. At least it has a chance at a second life for someone."
Gazelle screwed me on my trade in of an iPad Pro 12.9
"I did a trade-in of an iPad Pro 12.9 256GB Gray Wi-Fi Only in near perfect condition. Thinking I was protecting myself on the rare chance there was a mishap, I took photos of the front and back prior to packaging and sending off to Gazelle. Gazelle received my device soon thereafter (Nov 15 2023), assessed my trade-in as scratched in excess and they downgraded my valuation from $469 to $216. If the iPad I traded in is indeed now scratched, it was done after receiving the device by Gazelle.I used Gazelles packaging and followed their instructions. After learning of the downgrade in validation, I called (on Nov 15) provided photo evidence and asked for an escalation to re-examine, hoping they made an honest mistake. 3 weeks later and after many phone calls and unfulfilled promises, I hear the same thing every time I call: We dont have a status update, we are sending an email to the warehouse, you will receive an update directly from the warehouse in 2-3 days. I dont know if this is fraud, incompetence, or theft but I am out $469 on a trade-in of a perfectly good device. I really wish I would have taken what Apple offered, $400. Yes, I am ****! I really wish I would have researched what I thought was a company with a stellar history. With very little hope Gazelle will actually re-examine my device and value it fairly (in line with its condition on trade-in as documented by the included photos), I now am in a state of disgust and feel like I probably lost $469 that I really could have put to good use this Christmas season. User's recommendation: Do NOT trust your trade-in devices with Gazelle. It’s literally not worth it and just might leave you with nothing to show like me."
