Potentially a scam, terrible customer service
"I ordered an NFA Item (Dead Air Sandman S) from MVO on July 4th 2018. I inquired about the timeline for the item to ship on the 11th of July. I asked for an ETA and tried to confirm that the Form 3 information I had sent to them was correct. I received an email back saying that they were waiting on their SOT to come back before they could ship my suppressor. I am hesitant to believe them due to the fact that SOT Renewals are done at the same time every year, and once you send off the paperwork you have overlap and provisional license that allow you to continue doing business. Despite my lack of faith I continued to be patient and waited until the 22nd of the month to send another email. I inquired on the 22nd and relayed my concerns of having payed $700 for a product and not received it or been given an ETA and was told by their Customer Service Representative "Brandon" that their SOT had just came back and they would get my order turned around "ASAP". This was not the case. My order didnt ship until August 3rd. Given that in 2017 the AFT started Instant Form 3 approvals through an electronic submission system, there is no reason that MVO could not have gotten my product shipped to my FFL in a substantially more timely manner. Their lack of customer service is of serious concern and had I seen the reviews for them on the BBB I would have never purchased the product from them. They work hard to appear legitimate by using obscure websites to give them good ratings and reviews, they have no phone number by which to reach them and they are slow to process your order. To top it all off, the day after my order shipped, they deleted my account for some reason, it feels like a final “**** you” after its all said and done for making them work and respond to emails. They feel petty and fake.
I will not give them another red cent, I will warn anyone who will listen to me that they are borderline a scam website and they do not deserve to be in business with crap customer service."
