"I made an order for eVGA 6800 GT 256 MB videocard because they had the best price with a $20 rebate. At first it took a while for it ship as I had ordered it thursday july 7th, and received it monday july 11th.
I was a bit dissatisfied with the shipping, BUT I was extremely surprised that the main manager of Monarch Computer gave me a call, from his home and personal cell phone, to apologize and not only that, he offered me a discount on the original price.
I was unsure if I should order from them again, but now I am thinking twice because of how the customer service really works. They actually do care about their customers, so I now recommend shopping at Monarch Computer Systems."

"Good prices, timely shipping, however the packaging was AWFUL. Ordered a pair of WD hard drives. They arrived in a small box held together by a single layer of bubble-wrap secured around one dimension. The drives were in only the anti-static bag and there was no cushioning between the two drives. The box contained styrofoam peanuts but was only 1" larger than the hard drives.
Update -- The very next day (7/15) I received the following from "Joe" at Monarch:

I don't think the drives were damaged, and I have them installed in my system. If it turns out that I need to have one or both replaced, I will post the results here.
Updated Thu 7/28: One of the drives turned out to have problems. I emailed Joe last Sunday and he agreed on Monday 7/25 to ship me a replacement. I have not yet received the replacement drive."

"Purchased some merchandise and had a few problems with it working correctly. After talking to Monarch I was contacted by one of the managers in the RMA department. They went out of their way to assist me and insure that I was not only satisfied but that I would return to shop there, which I certainly will. I am very pleased to see that my faith in Monarch has been well placed and I will continue to refer people to shop there for their great prices and service. "I ordered a mobo combo. Supposed to be 1-3 days until shipping. After 8 days, I called and they said they would look into it. Took 13 days for what should have been 3-5. UPDATE: After contacting employees of MCS, I have been greatly suprised by their willingness and effectiveness to help. They compensated shipping and wanted me to call them personally about their order."
