"First time I dealt with Monarch, will do buisness again. Eagerly awaiting release of a new chip by AMD with a questionable release date, I pre-ordered a 3700+ San Diego chip and the people at Monarch, specifically Joe, kept me and others up to date with the status of the first major shipment to retailers of these chips to the U.S with honest information through email and an online community forum while other sites lied to try to get my buisness. When a rival site got one model of the new chip a couple days earlier then Monarch, Joe upgraded my shipping to next day air (which is very expensive, I live across the country from them)and threw in a T-shirt to get me to stick with them a day or two assuring me that not only would they have that one model chip the other site got but the other models in as well, including the model I wanted. A couple days later, Monarch got them in, Joe emailed me personally of the good news and they shipped it out that day. Top notch customer service, dealing with me, and my fellow computer geeks who were total obsessive pests about this release."

"This was my first order with Monarch. I'm happy to say that it was a good experience. I pre-ordered an AMD64 3200+ Venice chip knowing that it would probably not ship til the 6th of May, but JoeF let us know that they received them early. He then upgraded my shipping from express saver to overnight shipping and threw in a free t-shirt. Now that's service. Monarch Joe knew we were dying to get our hands on these new chips and he helped get them to us quicker.

"Bought a Mitsumi usb floppy drive/flash card reader.
I also bought a 3200+ Venice retail as a favor for someone. In both cases the item was shipped that day (floppy might have shipped the next day, don't remember exactly). I've ordered from Monarch maybe 4 or 5 times now and it's always quick and smooth. I also shop at newegg, and in my opinion monarch packs a little better for shipping, but both stores are top notch. I usually go for whichever has the best price on what I need. (To monarch's credit I used to shop exclusively at Newegg, and it took some fantastic work on their part to win me over as a customer."

"Ordered one of their mofo/cpu combos with an amd athlon64 3800+ venice cpu and an Ultra-D motherboard with 1 Gb OCZ 4001024ELDCPE-K Ram. The 3800+ venice got delayed from the expected May 2nd to a May 20th and we were notified on Apr 28th. When I expected them to ignore us, I found that a Monarch Rep was on their forum explaining the situation. Although not their own fault, the representative contacted me on phone within 10 minutes of my email request at this Saturday midnight explaining the situation in full detail in person and solved all my inquiries. This is not my first time shopping online, just the first at Monarch Computers and the first time I got the impression that a company actually cares about its customers - esp. troubled ones. To that I am very grateful. My personal advise is: If a company ever has shown this much care towards its customers, it's safe and trustworthy to do business with. If you want to know about details of the "venice incident" to prove my claim, go look it up in "MERGED VENICE CORE THREAD" in Monarch's forum."
