"I recently purchased a Western Digital Hard Drive(WD6400AAKS) 640 GB Caviar SE16. The website show a picture of the drive, however it said in the description that it was brand new and factory sealed and included all of the accessories as packaged by the manufacturer.
Therefore, based on that statement, I made the assumption that it was the retail version which includes SATA cable, driver and retail box.
Happily, I ordered it. The order only took about a week. However, when I received it and opened up the initial package, all that greeted me was a generic brown box.
Opening up that and all it contained was the drive that was suspended by 2 end caps.
I called the company and told them I received an oem version of the drive and not the retail package I was supposed to receive.
Their customer support did answer pretty fast and was courteous. He put me on hold and told me that his manager had contacted Western Digital and this was the "retail" package for this specific drive.
I then contacted Western Digital myself and spoke with Peter who confirmed for me that currently for this drive, only the OEM version is being shipped. He expressed his opinion, which mirrored my own, that PCSuperstore is misleading in advertising this drive as retail when in fact it is OEM.
In short, although PCSuperstore sent me a functional drive, they are engaging in false advertising, for this drive anyways."

"This was a great purchase. Reasonable price, quick shipping, great communication, and I look forward to my next purchase. The only drawback was the note about having an alternate address on file with my credit card. I shipped this to a family member in another state and it's a deal breaker if I have to have every ship to address on file with my credit card company. I like the verification feature but this policy is one that could prevent future orders.

"I tried to purchase a laptop from them. I needed the order to be delivered to a shipping address, different from the billing one, and both of them registered with the credit card company. I made two phone calls and was assured that it won't be a problem, as long as they are on the credit card. But in about two hours after I placed the order, their fraud dep. requested the copies of my driver license and credit card (both sides), refusing to continue without this information. It would be fine, if they won't be so "nice" talking to me before for 2 days, about 30 mins total, telling that it won't happen. I'm totally disappointed."
