Elite seals are prestigious banners given to retailers who are loved by their customers. To get one, a retailer has to consistently get high scores over time
"I ordered a camera and, being Thursday, was wondering why it was still processing. I received an email asking me to call about my order this afternoon. They hasn't shipped yet because they wanted me to leave positive feedback. Once I did, they would ship the camera, but would include a camera case for my trouble. I'm leaving feedback and have cancelled my order. I would rather pay more and actually receive what I ordered than deal with these shenanigans."
"Bait and switch. I ordered a Nikon D3100 on line and received a "confirmation" email offering various "warranty protections" for a hefty fee. I passed on those offers. The status of my order is still marked "in progress" despite the fact that the "confirmation" email says they process their orders immediately. Thus far my credit card has not been charged."
"I waited 3 weeks for my order to arrive before I called them. They said it was on backorder but I was never notified via email. They said it would take another week before they are able to ship it. At that point, I asked to cancel my order. I wanted to confirm that they have my correct email address but the guy hung up before I even got to ask!"
"Great prices. Great service. There was a problem with my address and they emailed and called to get it fixed. Very good people to deal with. Highly recommend buying from them."
"Total bait and switch. Ignore the 5 star "great service" ratings. My experience was EXACTLY that of most of the lengthy reviews. Great price online, but when they called to confirm, I got the "20 minute battery" talk, then he mentioned that I knew I as getting the "import version" with no warranty, right? I directed him to the "full USA warranty" language nest to the product picture (he told me that that warranty was to Primotronix, not to me, and that I didn't get a warranty. The US version was about $100 above retail. I just told him to cancel the order, which he did (though I keep checking my credit card balance). He wasn't unpleasant, but was clearly not going to sell me the product that I ordered for the price shown."
"Waited 13 business days with my order "in-process". Called multiple times to inquire on status of my order. Received different back stories and upsells each time. First time was told that my order was going out right now. Called back few days later and told that I ordered the wholesale package and it could be up to four additional weeks to get my order. Thankfully, I was assured that the "retail" package was available for immediate shipping at an additional 25%. Cancelled my order. Was told cancellation confirmation was already sent out via e-mail. Still waiting for that e-mail and my order status to change on the website."
