"I received my 2019 EVH Wolfgang MIJ and things started going downhill when I opened the case and thousands of little beads from a broken freshness package came out and were all (still are) in the storage area. If that were the only issue I'd have given it 4 stare BUT I'd be embarrassed to send a customer a $2 or $2800 item that's packed so tightly in the case the D-Tuna actually carved itself into the wood..it was so out of tune and has a FR that WAS STILL ON THE GUITAR INSIDE THE CLOSED HSC CAUSING TOTAL DAMAGE, I'm not returning it BECAUSE I SPENT ANOTHER 1,388.26 TO HAVE IT FIXED. "My interactions were positive at first, in fact I purchased an Arturia keyboard and after that a Roland GO:Keys3. All good.
My 3rd purchase was for a hard Gator case. I paid for it, got a confirmation and I received a Furman power conditioner instead. I let them know and it turned out to be a mistake by the warehouse which is not in Brooklyn but somewhere in the South. In short, after many email exchanges, I got my case after waiting for a ...... month. Too bad, I guess I'll stick with Sweetwater"
"Difficulty dealing with FEDEX compounded bythe service team a proaudiostar being less than helpful. I was eventually refunded for my purchase but it took a lot longer than necessary."
"My Guild bass had a high set neck, which is common on the Asia manufactured Guilds, but it has proven to be too high. My luthier told me it is not repairable without a neck reset. The saddle is already as high as it could ever possibly go without cracking the bridge."
"What I liked? ProAudioStar's price and quick response to my online order. What I didn't like? ProAudioStar's packaging did not provide adequate protection to withstand the abuse encountered during the shipping process. Ultimately, the guitar case shipping carton arrived somewhat beat up leaving the case lid slightly sprung making it difficult to close. At this point, I'm not sure if it's enough of an inconvenience to warrant the hassle of returning the product to ProAudioStar. Regardless, it remains a problem each time I attempt to align, then close and latch the lid properly. I wouldn't have taken possession of a guitar case with this issue had I been buying it in person from a local music center. Lesson learned about online purchases!"
"I ordered a guitar and the order ended up being canceled on account of the guitar being “unplayable”. How do you post a guitar for sale not knowing the condition of the guitar? Then I was offered a replacement model of similar nature and told that if I bought a separate pickup, that I would be able to plug it in, without drilling into the guitar. I looked up the instillation instructions, after agreeing to the second order, only to discover I had been mislead. To correct the situation, I was not presented with any sort of resolution that would even remotely address my needs."
"I opened up the guitar it came in two boxes and when I pulled it out of the box and then wrapped it the guitar had a large crack on the body of the guitar. It seems like it was broken before it was shipped because the missing part is not inside the box so it's very doubtful that it was damaged during transit most likely damaged before it was shipped during packaging."

"Purchased 2- JBL PRX912 they were open box return and the price was discounted. I did not like the speakers. So I returned them. They gave me the same tracking number for both speakers. So when the speakers were delivered to their warehouse, they only had one tracking number showing one speaker. after a week they finally sorted it out. I was charged return shipping and a restock fee. They were open box, not new. That is not a restock. I've spent $1000's at Pro Audio and they were wrong to lay that charge on me. I'm done with them. I don't mind paying for a marked up product. They were making 35% On the deal. But a restock fee on a open box? They lost my business."
