Hi, we're sorry you weren't satisfied with your experience. Our shipping costs are based on FedEx's calculation using several variables, such as product weight and location. We try to accommodate customer needs as best as possible. Unfortunately the check valves that you purchased has plastic on them, that can be damaged in shipping.
