"Shutters arrived in 3 weeks and were simple to fit. All hinged ready to go. Service was good and Nicholas was very helpful in making sure all was measured correctly. Ordered before with Blinds.com but would recommend Shutter Store over these guys."

"My web checkout included shipping charges to Hawaii which was steep but then I'm used to that. There was no contact from The Shutter Store to verify the order as they had advertised. When I contacted them, they said they didn't ship to Hawaii. My question is this: Why did they charge me for shipping to Hawaii if they don't ship to Hawaii? These folks are very unprofessional and provide a very poor consumer experience. I recommend that others don't do business with them."

"I've been a big TSS advocate and customer for the past 3 years now and finally getting around to providing a review online. I just ordered my 9th set of shutters and every experience has been better than the last.
Sales people are courteous, knowledgeable and best of all personable, which seems to be a lost art in the service world these days. They're also very thorough, ensuring to review the whole order prior to making the shutters.
I had one instance where one of the screws came out of the slats during delivery, and I called them up and they had fedex'ed me extra pieces within a couple of days.
Truly wonderful service, and in comparing the hunter douglass, Lowes, and other competitors' shutter quality at friends' houses, the wood shutters I ordered from The Shutter Store are notably higher quality. My dad's side hobby is woodworking and carpentry so we could tell right away these were legit."

"The shutters took approximately two months longer than quoted. This did not go over terribly well with my client. No one called to make me aware of the status at any time, and after I had called when they were several weeks late, someone told me they were late "due to weather". I was then told that they would arrive in a few weeks and I would be notified when they did. This date came and went again with no call at all. I called again and was told they were being shipped. The quality of the product was acceptable but I would not use the vendor again because of the lack in communication from customer service."

"Shutters were delivered past the promised by date with no explanation other than it will be there soon.
Shutters were ordered unfinished. Construction was excellent. There was, however, some glue slop making staining difficult."

"I am very pleased with the overall look and quality of the shutters I received. I was not too pleased with the hinges. They were inadequate to properly attach to the Window openings. I felt they were not wide enough. I was also not pleased with the tiny screws provided to attach the shutters to the wall. I had to purchase my own screws long enough to pass through the sheet rock to grab the wood underneath. Other than the hinges and screws, I'm pleased with the look of my shutters."
