"The entire process is quick and convenient. You get an update via email at each step of the resale process (i.e., product in the hands of the shipper, product received, product data has been wiped, product being evaluated, etc.). It took no more than 2 days after they received the computer to wipe the data, assess the condition, and issue payment. It could not have been a better experience. Many thanks!"

Excellent buying and selling experience with 27" 7 year-old iMac
"About a year ago my trusty 27" Intel iMac was giving me more and more trouble. I didn't want a 24" machine, and saw a used one, slightly newer model than mine, on sale at SellYourMac for about $1,000., and decided to buy it as an interim machine. It was in "new" condition and worked perfectly. I wiped the disk on my old one and gave it away---it seemed okay after the wipe. The replacement was even better and did my quite well for the next year. But when the new M4 Mini came out, I decided it was time to upgrade. I tried to sell the iMac locally, but even at $200 it had no takers among my acquaintances, so I asked if SellYourMac would buy it back. And indeed they did, paying me $395, and paying shipping themselves! I did have to spend $65 for a shipping box from OWC, but this was well worth it. During the process, SellYourMac was always very prompt to answer any questions and to advise me about packing, etc. Very satisfied indeed. I might add that the M4 mini, along with a Studio Display on a Vesa mount, is a dream. (But it was expensive.)"

"Takes forever. Even if you accept the offer, it takes more days for the funds to hit your account. Other places get it done in 2-3 days. I went on a 5 day vacation and I came back and still waited more.
I even showed them an offer of other places offering more. They said they will research it and get back to me. They never got back to me. Poor service."
