"These guys suck.
We ordered a replacement battery and when we opened the UPS the existing battery had terminals and a fuse already installed. The one we received from UPSforless was just a bare battery. Other companies sell the complete battery with terminals and fuse. That's ok, it's just more work to swap the terminals and the fuse and it would have been nice to know that before ordering.
The problem is that after installing the battery would not take a charge and the battery failure/replacement light never turned off. We contacted UPSforless and after some basic troubleshooting the battery still didn't work.
Which brings us to Andy Mastorakos. I asked for an RMA to return the battery since the one the one we got was a dud and we wanted to buy one with the fuse and terminals already installed since it's a lot less work. Radio silence from this guy after you request your money back. This guy is a grade A loser. A lame duck. The gene pool ain't deep where Andy comes from. Andy is still getting jiggy with it all these years later as the world has passed him by. I guess it should come as no surprise that the cream of the crop are not selling batteries. But I digress.
I emailed Andy a few times after troubleshooting to return the defective battery. Silence. I called a few weeks later and he said I would have return Fedex shipping info in my inbox within a day, but that never materialized. A few emails and phone calls later and here I am stuck with a bad battery. Today when I called his extension it rang for a minute and then he just picked up and hung up on me.
That's what credit cards are for so I went ahead and processed a chargeback with Visa today. I hope you enjoy the paperwork Andy.
I would highly recommend not doing business with UPSforless or Andy Mastorakos. Andy is a bad man. Dishonest. A liar. Dude was a bully in high school. He had a mullet then, and he STILL has a mullet today. He used to be known as Slippin' Andy because he would try to extort people for money by staging slip and fall accidents. Andy drives a white van and there is a lot of candy in the back, but that's probably just a coincidence.
You've been warned. Nobody deserves to be out of pocket for a full $115.34. Especially not to a guy like Andy Mastorakos."
"I had a hard drive fail and needed a new drive to get my pc back up and running. I find the WD Caviar's too noisy, and the Seagate 7200.12 was the drive that failed with less than 1 month of use so I was looking for something else. Compu2000 had the new Samsung F3 in stock which got good reviews for both performance and noise.
I placed an order on Monday for an F3 and got a confirmation email immediately. By Thursday I had not gotten any further communication from them saying that my order had shipped etc., even though I could see my credit card had been charged the day I placed the order. I sent an email to inquire about my order, and their response was "Oh that item is on backorder until next month, would you like to order something else?"
NO, I don't want to order something else. I want what you said you had in stock when I ordered and what you charged me for you clowns.
I know these guys are using Mac's, but come on, even Mac must have some kind of software with real-time inventory tracking for their Fischer-Price OS. And why would they charge my card before my order shipped if they didn't have any?
These guys are Bush League all the way!"
