"Well, it's odd. I initially submitted a review on 11/18 after I had heard nothing for a week and a half. The review never appeared, but I got an email the next day saying my order had never shipped due to problems with their system the weekend of the 10th. The order did ship the next day and I got it a few days later. So it ended up okay. I don't know if it was truly a system error or if action was only taken after resellerrattings sent my info to LordJohns/MyShoeStore. Since my credit card was charged on 11/12, i kind of wonder if it's the latter. So mixed review at this point.
Update 3/11/08:
Although I was one of the lucky few to actually get merchandise, I am still being sent junk emails from these guys, even after repeated requests to be removed from their mailing list. I have been forwarding them to "****@****" with the hope that maybe that would get their attention. But no, the junk emails still keep coming."
"I ordered a pair of mocassins on Nov 10 from Lord Johns. Website indicated most items shipped promptly if in stock and in "rare" cases might be 30 days. Eight days later with credit card charged and no update from company, I googled for complaints and found their resellerratings.com rating. I feel sick that I didn't check on these guys first.
New Hampshire Better Business shows Lord John's as less than desirable, with numerous unresolved complaints. Link is below:
