"Beware of this advertiser! His ads posted on Craigslist promise that you can make $400 a day with your camera...all you need to do is buy his manual for $14.95 to tell you how. So, I purchased it and after downloading it and printing it out I was shocked! Not only is this "manual" printed on only 5 pages, but the type font is about 24 point, so the content is far less than even a full printed page.
Now, here is the clincher...his ad promises an unconditional 100% refund no questions asked. Well after a dozen requests, I still don't have my refund. He says that he can't be threatened as he has heard it all before....well, that just means that he HAS had complaints in the past. So, my advice is to steer clear of this devious con artist!"
"Whatever you do NEVER, EVER deal with this fraudulent company. They totally misrepresent what they are selling, and are extremely rude.
I bought what I thought was a '97 Toyota Celica engine with 35,000 miles on it. When my mechanic opened the package, none of the original engine parts would fit. After checking with Toyota directly, we found out that this engine was from a late '80s truck and it had at least 100,000 miles on it.
When my mechanic called a guy named Shauwn, he yelled at him and hung up the phone.
Buyer beware! I also called the BBB in Wisconsin and they said they had 223 complaints over the last 3 years about this company."
"Buyers beware - This company advertises that for $8 you can purchase 1000 flash web templates. I bought them and was directed to their site to download 8 modules of almost 522 MB. Turns out that there was maybe a handfull of flash templates, a lot of which had only minor changes, and most of the files were very large photoshop pictures that are too big for posting on a web site anyway. I've tried to contact the company, which returned my e-mails when I had a question before I bought, but after...I don't hear from them. Glad I didn't spend the $26 for the entire package."
"Be wary of dealing with this company. I joined for the annual subscription price of $35 and then found out that the car I was trying to find wasn't even listed, after they lead you on by telling you they have hundreds of listings.
Also, the info is available by searching the web yourself, and you get nothing that is proprietary.
This company doesn't return any e-mails and has no phone number to contact them.
Here is a site that has more info about this company: www.consumerwebwatch.org/news/Barrett/0804_cars.htm"
