"They advertise that they provide free 3 day shipping on orders over $99 and boast about how great that their customer service and warehouse performance is. I placed an order for new Michelin Commander II tires online on Sunday 2/15/15. Was sent an order comfirmation with a delivery date of 2/18/15 and it said that I would receive a shipping confirmation via email when they shipped. Based on that info, I made an appointment at a local shop on Thursday (giving an extra day for shipping beyond their commitment. On the afternoon of 2/17/15 (2 business days later), I still had not received a shipping confirmation notice, so I called their customer service and waited on hold for over 15 minutes before speaking to a rep. Was told that they had no stock of the tires in their Utah warehouse (closer to where I live in TX) and had to transfer the order to their Kentucky warehouse and that they were experiencing weather issues, so the order has not yet shipped. I asked the rep why no one at Rocky Mountain ATV had contacted me, either by phone of by email, and he had no response. Told me that they were doing the "best that they can" and would still try to meet the committed delivery date of 2/18/15. Got an email that night (2/17/15) confirming that the tires had shipped FedEx HOME DELIVERY ( the slowest and cheapest FedEx shipping method) and were estimated to be delivered on Friday, 2/20/15 by end of day. This is two full business days beyond their committed delivery date on my order confirmation. While I understand that things happen, I find it unacceptable that no one from Rocky Mountain RTV contacted my about the delay in shipping and even after I called and was assured that they would take steps to meet the committed delivery date, they shipped the tires using the slowest (and cheapest) delivery method, knowing that there was no possibility of meeting the committed delivery date (or even the next day or even the day after that). Sounds like a small thing but this experience is not even close to meeting their boasts of superior customer service and warehousing performance. Very disappointed."
