"The process is confusing compared to competitors - Pop Up Stand and Signs.com are more clear about uploading graphics and what the steps are.
Upon placing the order, I received one email welcoming me because I created an account, one email saying my order was awaiting for artwork (with no instructions in the email about what to do next), and a third email
with an Upload button.
When I uploaded it, I received one email saying it's not sized appropriately.
The Wave Lite banner is described as 33.4 x 80" tall - which is exactly what size I made the graphic. From the website: "The Wave double sided retractable outdoor banner stand displays two graphics with a visual area of 33.4" wide x 80" high."
*UPDATE 8'1'2022: The team has responded that the information is there but I just didn't see it. I feel they are missing the point - the point is that everything that is apparent to the customer didn't suggest this information. Sure it might be there somewhere, but this is at least the third or fourth website I've used for banner stands and it's the first one where I ran into this issue - the point is it isn't apparent.
That aside, I feel the service has been really good so far, I appreciate the team coaching me through the problems. If the banner comes quickly and looks good I'd be happy to revise the rating again.
But the email says this banner is 86" tall, so it is rejecting the artwork. Maybe there is small print somewhere saying the art needs to be larger? Haven't had this with any of the other places I've ordered banner stands.
Very confusing.
Note: To be transparent, it is also rejecting my artwork because of an RGB issue I am trying to fix."

I’m sorry you found the process confusing. It does explain when you select the proofing option that you’ll get the upload link on the order confirmation page, and also in the order confirmation email, which is seems you found and used to upload your file. As for the banner size, the 33.4 x 80 is the visible size, not the file size, which is how it’s described everywhere it’s listed, including in the text you included in your review. The Specs & Template tab on the product page where you ordered contains both the template with the proper size, as well as listing the specs for both the visible size, and the total size. The link you use to upload your file also contains the total banner size that file should be in the text to make sure it’s clear. I’m not sure that qualifies as small print but it obviously confused you so I apologize for that. Listing the size of the banner as 33.4" x 86" when only 80” is visible would be more confusing for most people if they designed their file at 86” to find the bottom 6” isn’t even visible, so that’s why the visible size is what’s shown for every product. That information isn’t meant to be used to create the design, only to describe the product. The template and specification are provided so you’ll have that information to create your design. I hope that helps clear up the confusion. Lastly, in the future we have multiple designers on staff, along with a full customer service team that is always happy to take a call and get you any answers you need.
