"Wow! I should have checked here first. I placed an order with these criminals that was large enough to qualify for a discount and free shipping. No indication at any time that ANY item was out of stock. SIX of the items were, though, so what did they do. They reprocessed the order without them, meaning that it no longer qualified for either the discount or the free shipping, so they just CHARGED me for the shipping and gave me NO discount.
On the same day, that card incurred >$5,000 in FRAUDULENT charges, all originating in Florida where, guess what, BikeSomewhere just happens to be located. My Credit Card company caught the larger batch of frauds, but I am having to change to a new card everywhere that I had it stored, which is quite a few places. The smaller fraud I am still trying to resolve."
"I made a $750-plus order (free shipping! wow! worst decision ever!). That was more than 2 weeks ago, past 2.5 now. Of the 16 separate items I ordered (case quantities of all), here is the tally so far:
3 - Not actually available, though STILL all advertised AS IF AVAILABLE on their website (found out some days after placing order - good thing I could find alt. suppliers who actually HAVE what they advertise)
1 - Incompetently packed, box leaking and filled with shards of glass bottles (UPS shares blame)
7 - Shipped and received in good condition, but in multiple shipments on different days
1 - Delayed for 3 weeks (or so I was told; still hasn't shipped)
4 - Still no *bleeping* idea (no shipment, no news of any kind)
I was issued a refund for the unavailable and destroyed items, but of course this is just more accounting hassle for me. I also sort of assumed that the free shipping discount was possible because things were shipped together, but no, 16 items means 16 separate shipments, or at least it would have if they could actually ship all the things they advertise.
Ironically, their Customer Service people seem to be very good and are very attentive. I imagine that they are overworked also, given how incompetent the base business is. On 16 items, I have now had more than half than # of interactions with Customer Support, and I'm still waiting on 5 out of the 16 items.
NEVER AGAIN! NEVER, NEVER, NEVER EVER!"
