"In late November I ordered a gift basket for my daughter who is stationed in the USAF, Yakota Japan. I was assured that there would be enough time to get the order shipped for arrival before Xmas. The order shipping confirmation never came with a tracking number but going to an APO overseas, I could imagine that tracking might be difficult as I was assured that the package did ship.
This was lie #1
I kept checking with my daughter on the days leading up to Xmas but the package never arrived. I E mailed customer service 3 times and they finally acknowledged (after Xmas) that the order never shipped and had been out of stock.
This is the insult to the original injury.
Needless to say, my daughter never received her Xmas package and I was devastated. I have been communicating 3 times since trying to get my refund. Every time the response is that I will receive my refund to my account within 72 hours.
These are lies #2, 3 & 4
I am a private business man and cannot come to grips with a company that has the unmitigated gall to openly & knowingly lie to their customers and show zero respect or priority to our soldiers that are deployed on foreign soil.
I am also a USAF Veteran and current Vice Commander in the American Legion.
I will make it my mission to insure that Hickory Farms gets the press they deserve and I have never failed to execute a successful mission."
