"Was told the order could not be completed until they had more information regarding my declined credit. I “assumed” the order wasn’t complete but LO at 11:34 pm EST my card was debited. Meh. I tried to call the next morning during “business hours” (8-6 PT) to cancel the order and was told it was on a truck and couldn’t be stopped. Hmmmm. That took 5 minutes? Well. When it gets here I’ll just return it. WAIT. Fed x just sent me a tracking number!!! They picked it up today??? 24 hours later? I called fed ex to stop shipment and was told they have a restricted account. The order to stop it would have to come from the shipper. Ugh. I called them back. Was offered a supervisor to see what could be done. OMG she practically called me stupid. Her name is Lisa. Please don’t even try to talk to her. Condescendingly she sweetly said “we assumed if you placed the order you want the merchandise” (hear my falsetto?) Hmmm. Did you not hear me say the order wasn’t completed? I’m confused. You needed to SPEAK with me before completing the order!!! Now I’m angry. She continued : “we’re opened 24 hours, we don’t just close.“ Well not so I can contact you!!! I cancelled my credit card. They’ll continue billing me for years to come I can just feel that one coming. This is a very large canopy swing. I’m sure it’s heavy. I’m sure fed x would not like to drive that thing 6 states away only to return it. A simple phone call would have solved the whole thing. What’s that rule? If you receive something you did not request, it’s a gift? Customer service at its worst!!!"
