"I ordered two gaming PCs from Xotic PC over a year ago. My ASUS is flawless. That Sager they sold me is not. If I buy from Xotic again it won't be a Sager. They recommended Sager to me but the keyboard on the thing keeps breaking.
Xotic was nice enough to send a backup keyboard in the event this one goes bad again on the Sager. So that's nice at least. So I feel bad for Xotic that they have to deal with Sager. It wasn't their fault.
At least the ASUS system they built me is flawless."
"Ordered a RainForest 66 system that comes complete with GH nutrients. The Flora Bloom bottle leaked about 20% of the contents into the package and congealed into gel over the bottom of the unit. I can clean it all up but this still sucks. They should be wrapping these nutes in plastic bags with tape. That's what Amazon does because bottles do open in transit.
The order arrived in 2 days via ground and the price was good."
"I ordered a $759 Anthro desk from ecost.com. The box showed up damaged beyond belief and the desk was damaged with missing parts. They are telling me they won't issue a refund or return.
I want an RMA/replacement. If they continue refusing to help me I'll be bringing this up with my credit card company and I will reverse the charges.
All this after waiting 3+ weeks as the item was on back order.
Edit: ecost.com will have a carrier pickup the package apparently and will refund me once they receive it. I reported this issue to Anthro with pictures and told them about the issues I had with their re-seller.
I still can't believe this thing showed up damaged. You'd think for a $900 desk someone would have packed it right.
Update (4/26/2013)
I plan on suing ecost unless they refund my card by COB today. Fedex told me they weren't able to return the product since ecost was closed during the RMA delivery attempt and that the package may be sent back to me. It's easy to file a claim against a business in the state of FL. I can do it for less than $50 on the local court's website. Then they'll get a summons via certified mail. It's in their best interest to refund me my money now."
"I placed an order for a Gen4 Box Magazine With Nautilus Drive, item sku number 010085. I paid for USPS Express shipping, which is overnight delivery by USPS. Even from CA to FL USPS's website says this is overnight delivery. Needless to say I spent $50+ to ship something overnight that didn't get to me. So if you are looking to get something quick don't order from RAP4.com. I have no idea why they can't get something in mail especially when you've paid for that shipping method.
I basically paid $50+ for shipping for no reason.
I placed this order very early in the day. They had it in a box before noon and it still didn't get into the mail."
"I placed an order for Mercedes Benz MB 041 eyeglasses on 09/08/2010. I entered and completed my PD measurements later that day.
I ordered the frames with HOYA Nulux EP lenses.
The eyeglasses were delivered on 09/16/2010. This is with overnight shipping, which I paid for.
I have a second set of frames coming in this Friday.
The Mercedes Benz frames I ordered from go-optic were as advertised. They were also the last pair ever to be made by Alison Spa (the manufacturer who made Mercedes line of eye wear). I apparently bought the last pair from go-optic.
I was concerned at first because they took the eyeglasses down on their website the day after I ordered them and marked them discontinued. They didn't email me, so I emailed them. That's when I found out I bought the last pair.
I see a lot of bad feedback on go-optic on this forum. Unfortunately, I have to say that if you have a bad experience with go-optic its probably self-generated. If you don't know what lenses should be paired with your prescription, that's your fault. Go-optic is designed for people who can read into things and understand what they are doing on their own without the help of an optician. If you're not such a person, don't order eyeglasses/prescriptions online.
Also, their website does list all of their policies on returns, and their associated fees. If someones mad about this, they didn't read before they "signed." Again, not go-optics fault, that's your fault."
