"I placed an order with them online, but I called them "FIRST" to make sure it was the correct product and in stock, and they said it was. Guess what? they still sent me the wrong one, and of course they don't have the correct one in inventory and apparently never did... Buyer Beware"

"I ordered a wetterlings axe on friday and I got the axe the next tuesday! great price, great service, I called them first to make sure they had it in stock, they were courteous and helpful."

"I ordered a knife online from premiumknives.com a while ago. I received a confirmation of my order the next day telling me I would receive shipment information/numbers via email, fine. Two weeks later and still no notice I called, they said the system was updating and they would email the information later that same day, I got nothing. I called another day and tried again and they "finally" said it was on backorder! On their initial confirmation it specifically said their were no problems with stock, that all the checkpoints had cleared. Their site should have said "back order" or "out of stock" when I placed my order in the first place, or their confirmation email should have said in their "Check List" that it was out of stock, or they could have emailed me within a reasonable amount of time telling me this. I think this is a bad business practice, taking your money before they have the product in stock."

"I ordered from lapolicegear December 6th, but received only a partial order on December 12th and they never informed me the knife I ordered is on backorder (till mid Jan), I had to call them. I was charged and never informed. So I canceled my knife order and will try and order it somewhere else."
