"The online retailer will display a picture of the original OEM manufacturers remote for the TV model and indicate that this is what they will send you. But they will send you an imitation remote that is often missing buttons for features on your old remote. They will include a letter in your package to the effect of sorry your remote is discontinued here is an imitation that should work just as well and can return if it doesn't. But this is not disclosed before you order or before they ship. The imitation remote did not include two necessary buttons to operate my TV model. The return process is easy but it takes time and the customer is responsible to pay for the return"
