"Ordered a USB 4-port with one internal and one external SATA port expansion card on 3/6/2012. Arrived 3/29/2012. Their office is in California (where I live), but evidently all items ship from China. Item came in a box of a different item. Even had the wrong drivers (for a RAID card) on a mini-CD. At first I thought they sent the wrong item until I opened the box. No instructions (fortunately the expansion board is plug-and-play under WIN-XP). USB ports were not aligned properly to fit standard desktop mid-tower case (Antec). Had to bend metal surround of one of the ports ports to get board to fit and make the ports externally accessible. Other than that, things went well and it works fine."

"Shortly after placing my order I received the standard verification E-Mail. After that I waited ten days and had received no communication at all from iKitchen. Their website also showed no change in my order status during that time. I then sent two E-Mails on different days stating that if the order had not shipped I wanted it canceled and to respond that it had been canceled. Within minutes of the second message I received an E-mail response stating that the item was ready to ship, and did I still want to cancel. I replied that I was unhappy with their lack of communication and did not want to do business with them. Minutes later I received an automated response with a UPS tracking number stating that UPS had been notified to pick up my parcel for shipment to me ("Billing information has been sent to UPS," etc. on the UPS tracking page). The next morning the iKitchen website showed the order had been canceled but the UPS pickup order was still active. So as I type this I have to wait before ordering the item from another reseller because I cannot be sure whether iKitchen will be shipping this to me or not. And after all that I found it for about $15 less elsewhere. This was my first experience with this company, and needless to say, I will not do business with them again."

"I purchased my 1905FP LCD computer monitor in October of 2005. The monitor's power switch failed in August of 2006. I called Dell customer support and within about 25 minutyes they agreed to send me a replacement under warranty. The replacement arrived two days later at my rural home and included a return, postage paid label. I would rate that as excellent customer support."

"I have been shopping online for years. I have been writing articles related to computers for about ten years, and have written articles on how to shop online safely. Annually, I save enough shopping online to pay for my Internet account. With that said, I will never shop at buy.com again. It started a couple of years ago when i ordered something from them on sale that was out of stock. After about 4 to 6 weeks of waiting for some sort of notification I E-mailed them to be told that the order was canceled. I never received notification. I let that go by, figuring that things occur and mistakes are made. More recently, I ordered a solid state portable, pocket memory device. It was a good price and had a rebate as well. When it arrived I was surprised that it was shipped in a manila envelope and that the envelope had been slit open at the post office and the drive stolen- all I got was an empty envelope. I filed a claim with buy.com and they said (through E-mail) that they would investigate. Weeks went by and the rebate expired, so I filed a claim with the credit card company and they flagged the charge, and then I E-Mailed buy.com and stated that I wanted the order canceled. Later, as I had net heard from buy.com for a while, I called them and spoke to a well-trained phone representative in India. I told them the story and stated that I wanted the order canceled. They stated that this was noted in the order already. I but you can guess what happened next! About ten days later the memory arrived! So I now had a memory key for which I paid too much in hand and no hope of making use of the rebate. Sure, I could have then lost the postage amount to send it back and get a refund, but at that point I was through trusting buy.com. I took the loss, and wrote it off as an educational experience. There were a few more details involved with numerous E-mails sent to buy.com, but you get the idea. In the last two months I have spent over $2000 online, purchasing a pro-quality digital camera (my third digital), a vacuum cleaner, a SM memory card, a couple of laptop accessories, two dozen AA NiMH batteries, and more. I can assure you that not one penny of that was spent through buy.com."

"If you are looking for great prices, fast service, and good communication about your order, this is THE place! I shopped all over, and the selection and prices at ZipZoomFly are excellent. You might find a better price on a specific item here or there, but overall they can't be beat (IMO). My first order was on a Tuesday evening and my order arrived on Friday afternoon. Sure, I do live close to them (about a 4 hour drive), but at these prices it was still excellent service. All items were exactly as described and I am very pleased with the system I built. When the Mobo from that order failed after about 28 days they were willing to exchange it. They told me to just send the Mobo in its box and they would send a replacement Mobo, and to keep the accessories. They ran out of that model before the replacement could be sent, so they offered to issue a pick-up slip so that I could send the rest of the Mobo parts (cables, manual, etc.) back to them at their expense for a full refund! The customer service folks were helpful, understanding, and great listeners. The replacement Mobo was ordered on a weekend, the order was “packed” on Monday and shipped the same night, and arrived at my home on Tuesday."
