"Placed two different orders with Esslinger. First one went fine but the second one was a little different. I received a button cell battery which was almost completely depleted, although it had an exp date of Feb '21 on the unopened blister pack; I had ordered two. One good, one bad with the same expiration dates - go figure? Long story short … Esslinger refused to replace the battery and thus lost a ongoing longtime customer over $1.40 battery - the original order was for $61.00.
"What you have just done is to call into question my integrity and honesty and THIS I will not stand for! Esslinger has just lost a new and ongoing customer over a battery which Esslinger probably paid $.65 for thanks to you. You should have offered to replace that battery at my word WITHOUT QUESTION - I would have even been willing to send it back (as proof). Either you are VERY poor at the function you are performing for your employer or Esslinger is a company that I wish to NO LONGER deal with".
The final result: Esslinger is a company I choose to no longer do business with.
P.S. never even received a comment from them on my letter
