"I'm a buyer with over 600 suppliers and I'm always on the lookout for a good deal. Discount Office frequently comes up as one of the lower cost online vendors. How do they accomplish that? I only have two solid examples, but I'm not betting on a third.
October 2012: Purchased two Sharp accounting calculators. One arrived new/unopened, the other arrived opened and slightly scratched. It was non-functional when plugged in. Return was easy, although you have to watch out for their 3 day return policy.
January 2013: Purchased a Swingline electric stapler. Product once again arrived opened, scratched and damaged. It looked like an unrepaired refurbished item. Again, the return was hassle-free.
Be prepared to receive refurbished products when you order from Discount Office Supplies. They have to cut costs somewhere."
