Incorrect shipping times, and predatory cancellation policy
"I ordered an item (a Grohe 19612 Seabury trim kit) with an estimated 2-5 day ship time. Several days later, I received an update that the item had been delayed 3 weeks, which was after I needed the part. I was able to purchase the part locally and wrote to cancel my order.
Even though my order has not shipped (and is not scheduled for a week still), I was told that because they had already placed the order with the vendor it was not possible to cancel, and that I would be charged a 15% restocking fee plus shipping costs.
This seems to be an unreasonable and predatory policy for returns, particularly when claiming to stock out of their warehouse. If the item hasn't shipped to me (and was listed with an erroneous shipping time), a cancellation should be issued no-questions-asked."
