"I placed an order on 10/23 for a small TV...not one of their big ticket items. The same day, my credit card was charged for the order. The following day, I received an e-mail indicating my order was placed for FINAL PROCESSING and that they estimated delivery between 11/7-9 (2 weeks later). There was no indication that it would take so long for delivery of a 26 lb TV. And they indicated the item was IN STOCK! I tried to contact customer service via e-mail about this with no response. I placed a call and was told this was normal. I complained and asked for the shipping info, which they could not provide. It took 6 phone calls and 3 e-mails (which they never answered), and direct contact with a customer service supervisor, before I got results. The supervisor indicated that they maintained no warehouse and everything shipped from a distributor, but they had no way of tracking which distributor got my order. They had no way of tracking the status of my order. He indicated that they have been having problems with their distributors lately, and their customer service was now poor. I questioned their financial status and he assured me they were not having any financial problems. Finally, on 11/8, I received notification that the item was finally shipped and I received it on 11/14 (22 days later). Also, when I wanted to cancel the order because of the long delivery time, they told me about their cancellation fee, which I did go into their site and found, which says that once your credit card is charged, they will charge you a cancellation fee for the reprocessing. But eventually the supervisor said he would waive that fee but asked me to give him a chance to handle this himself. He was not timely in getting back to me, but eventually pushed this through.
Although their price was good, do not expect to receive your merchandise in a timely manner, and you may have to pay your credit card bill before the merchandise arrives! I was ready to dispute the charge on my card.
It is difficult to get any information out of the customer service reps. I felt threatened when told it would cost me a fee to cancel. I felt like I had been taken and would never see my TV or my money back. This was a very stressful transaction for me. And it took way too many phone calls to get the status.
I would not use this vendor again!"
