"Read the comments BEFORE you start the step, not AFTER you've made the same mistake the commenter just warned you about. Bought my parts from iFixit instead of a cheaper 3rd party seller and it made a big difference repairing my broke Pixel 2XL. I retired it and bought a Pixel 6, but after realizing how truly horrible the fingerprint reader is, I resuscitated my old friend with a new original part screen from iFixit. Hello again old friend.
