"I placed an order for a camera that has been fairly hard to come by, with the Beach Audio website showing 12 units in stock. After my order the number dropped to 11, and then went back up to 12 about an hour later. Next morning showed 14 in stock, then by that evening the number in stock had dropped to 0. I had received an order confirmation right after placing the order, but 24 hours later, the order was still shown as "Processing".
The morning of the second day, still no stock, no confirmation of shipping, and no charge to my credit card. I called Beach Audio when they opened and told them to cancel the order. To their credit, they did so without fuss, and by the evening of the second day, I had a cancellation confirmation email.
I did not pursue the question of the bouncing stock numbers, or if the item was really available. I simply decided to avoid any further potential delay, and acquire the item from another online supplier with whom I had been satisfied in past transactions. The Beach Audio representative I spoke with was polite and handled the matter professionally."

"Just received my second order from Vanns, and like the first, everything went smoothly. Placed the order first thing Monday morning for a Panasonic FZ18, selected 3-day UPS, received the shipping notice that afternoon, and the package arrived on Wednesday, a day early! Great service from both Vanns and UPS. Item was fresh stock, and arrived in good shape. Highly recommended."
