"I bought a jumbo-capacity 3000 mAh battery for my Cingular 8525 phone from Xell. The battery and the replacement battery cover both appear to be made to exacting specifications, and they both fit very snugly in place (unlike some competing products I have read reviews of). The matte graphite cover is not an exact match for the Cingular 8525's gunmetal gray, but it looks very elegant and no one would suspect that it is not part of the phone's original design scheme. The new cover protrudes around 3/8 inch from the back, which I expected and which is not a problem for me. I haven't had a chance to fully test the new battery's performance yet, but so far, so good.
Xell's website could use some improvement. I couldn't check out in Firefox and had to use Internet Explorer. The shipping address form doesn't output a correctly formatted preview for US addresses; I got around this by entering street, city, state and zip in the street field. Finally, PayPal changed the shipping address to my billing address without telling me, and Xell's checkout process didn't catch this and notify me. (As a result, my shipment was sent to an address that was vacant for the holidays and automatically forwarded by the Postal Service to an office that was closed for the holidays. Receipt was accordingly delayed by around 3 weeks. Obviously, this is an unusual circumstance that most customers will not run into.)
On the positive side, Xell responded promptly and in apparent good faith to my inquiries during the time my shipment was "missing."
I would like to see Xell improve its website's functionality, but I would order from them again and have already recommended them to my brother, who has the same phone as I do."
