First Order - Too
"Placed "little" order (three boxes .22lr - 50 rnds each). Shipping cost same as ammo. This is more or less my trial run. What I will be looking for is:
1) How fast order filled
2) How accurate order filled
3) How well ammo packaged
Let the test begin."

"This is my second review of Hobbylinc. Last month (July 2015) I submitted a review after my initial dealings with them. A pattern seems to be appearing. Initial order is placed and it takes three to four days for the items to be "pulled". Order is then mailed (in my case, USPS) and delivery occurs approximately seven to eight days later. I live on the west coast so that does not seem too bad. Ordered items are well packaged in a sturdy box with no damage to contents. Prices are competitive when shipping is factored in. My experience with Hobbylinc. is satisfactory to me as I am willing to wait or, looked at another way, the items I order are not "emergency" needed right now sort of things. I have placed a total of five orders thus far and will very likely do so again in the future. They send a confirmation of order e-mail and an order shipped e-mail which is nice. Hobbylinc. requested that I let others know of my experience with them but did not specify which reporting site to use. Thank you. RD Roberts"

"Here is my story, you decide,
27 May 2008 ordered Antec P190 computer case and specified payment by personal check. Item in stock.
02 Jun 2008 my check cleared the bank. Went to web site to check order status. "Temp out". No problem, still collecting components for new build.
20 Jun 2008 sent e-mail to Techonweb. I was getting a little concerned as various other site had dropped Antec P190 from inventory. Antec site did not list case as discontinued, but I was beginning to wonder. Received prompt reply from Chris saying ETA of case 09 Jul 2008.
27 Jun 2008 cancelled order.
16 Jul 2008 e-mailed Chris at Techonweb asking as to when I might expect refund, and as an aside, Antec case no longer listed on their site.
18 Jul 2008 having not received reply (OK, Chris might be on vacation) sent another e-mail with same question to customer care department.
18 Jul 2008 received e-mail from Chris saying he was not aware of my cancellation but that the check would be in the mail shortly.
22 Jul 2008 received refund check as promised."

"Overall experience (first time buyer) was favorable, however the packaging could have been a little more sturdy. I realize that the shipper is responsible for the rough handling of the box but three sheets of paper to cushion the Corsair HX1000 power supply (12 lbs worth) seems a bit skimpy. Fortunately, Corsair packed the psu in a box up to the task of rough handling."
