"I needed a hard to find and expensive Universal Diesel exhaust manifold. They informed me that the OEM one was not available but an aftermarket one was. MPS sent me photos of the available, somewhat differently shaped, aftermarket manifold. I was concerned that it would not attach properly to a later factory retrofit of the alternator bracket. So I bought an OEM one elsewhere at the OEM price with pictures and serial numbers suggesting the OEM one . When it arrived it was the same aftermarket one I could have received from MPS for about 250$ cheaper. I returned it. Later I determined that I could use threadless metal bushings as spacers and some minor modifications to make the aftermarket one work. I ordered the manifold shipping free from MPS and received it the next day, saving $250!"
