Wonderful Frames!
"This is the third time I've placed an order with Wholesale Arts and Frames, and this was as excellent an experience as the others! The canvases arrived earlier than predicted, well-packed and in perfect condition. I've been painting up a storm! These are 30x40x1-3/4" stretched canvas, and I really enjoy working on them. I do find that the acrylic paints I'm using (admittedly not the highest quality) don't necessarily like to stick well to the canvas. So I've started coating the entire canvases, especially the sides and edges ~ where there will be more "wear and tear" as the paintings are moved around ~ with a thinned-down (read: watery) coating of acrylic medium. After that dries, the (cheap) acrylics stick to the canvas just fine! By the way, I moved up to the 1-3/4" depth canvases for several reasons, but one is because over time, a few of their standard depth (3/4"?) canvases warped a bit. These deeper ones (including some I bought several years ago from the same company) have held up very well."
