Take my money, Wait7 weeks, then Cancel order... RipOff!!!
"I ordered a Bass Raider 10e Boat on 05/21/20. The boat shoed 2-3 weeks delivery and they charged my card over $500 for the item.
On 06/19/20 I called and was told that it would be in and available for pickup on 06/22/20. After checking the status changed to "backordered". I patiently waited again.
Today I checked the status and it now shows "Shipped" but in the details it said "cancelled".
I called and found out that my order has been cancelled!
I asked about the hold on my money and they said it should be released soon!!!! They have held my money for over 7 weeks only to cancel the order.
Won't be dealing with them again even though they are just about the only sports/fishing store in town. I'll order online from another company from now on. I won't trust BassPro or Cabella's anymore."
"I ordered a Minn Kota trolling motor on 05/28/20. When I ordered it their website said 10+ available. The item was paid for the same day and I received an email 45 minutes later stating that it was out of stock.
I tried calling but they're not taking calls So I sent an email to sales@tackledirect. I asked that they cancel the order so I could buy from another vendor that has them in stock. I waited a week, got no response and my order is still pending review.
So I wrote another email, again asking for the order to be cancelled. I have waited another week and still have not heard anything back and my order is still pending review.
It is now starting the third week and now the item is "Unavailable" yet my order is still "Pending Review" and I still have received no response to my emails.
I don't think I've ever dealt with a company with this level of customer service. They've got my money and that is all they care about.
I am disputing the charge now. Who knows how long it will take to get my money back and being on social security I can't afford to buy from anyone else because they have my money.

(Update)
1 hour after I filed a dispute with PayPal, Tackledirect refunded my money.
I received this response on my review on another site.
"It looks like you were taken care of today and fully refunded. Sorry about the backorder on the motor and slow response time. We are doing the best we can."
I love the way they call it "taken care of". After holding my money for over 2 weeks and ignoring 2 emails, I was "taken care of". I would still be waiting if I had not filed the dispute.
Not the kind of company to do business with. I'm leaving reviews everywhere I can find."
