"I placed my order yesterday morning (like 3AM). Primotronix called me, and tried to up sell me, saying they needed to speak to me to verify my phone number...
I refused the upsell, and expected to see a charge on my card very shortly after the phone call. No.
The site seemed shady to begin with, but once my card wasn't charged, I decided to look into it further. Sounds like it was all probably too good to be true.
My order hasn't been processed, and now they're closed until Friday.
All I know is my order better ship ASAP, and it better be right. I ordered on a debit card, and took the measure of moving the funds on the card, into a different account, all except the EXACT amount I agreed to pay them. If they try any shenanigans, it just won't go through.
Will update when I get my product. I ordered a Nikon D5200 (body only), so there SHOULDN'T be any way to mess that up, but we'll see.
EDIT- I just called them up and asked for a status update. They said the camera wasn't in stock, and they were hoping to get it in, within 2 weeks. I told him to cancel the order, he said ok and hung up abruptly. They were obviously unhappy that I didn't go for their BS with the upsell.
Garbage company.
Here's hoping they don't try to ransack my card now."
