National Geographic Online Store doesn't try to resolve vendor issues
"I ordered the Wolf Plush Toy from National Geographic Online Store December 2018 and it's currently May 2019 and have still not received it. They do not offer in-stock alerts so it's impossible to know if their products will come back in stock. Every time I call or email about my order they have pushed the date back a few weeks and since it was only a few weeks each time I waited. Now here it is May, 5 months later. I paid in December 2018, and all customer service can say is the vendor can change the date at any time. No explanation other than they guess the plush may have not been of high enough quality and the vendor may be remaking them. They told me the only other thing I can do besides waiting is cancel the order for a refund but said if it comes back in stock they may run out quickly since there are many on order currently along with my order. This kept/keeps me from canceling since my daughter really wants this wolf plush and with no in-stock alert I have to check their website each day to see if it's back in stock. I am truly disappointed that such a huge and well respected company feels this is the best way to treat their customers instead of adding an in-stock alert function and also insisting their vendors produce the products satisfactorily and on time, or find other vendors."
