"I purchased an LG VX6000 "charging" USB cable off of RPI wireless'. It took about 1 week before he finally shipped it out, and from that point on, things only got worse. After I got the cable, I followed the directions on RPI Wireless website for setting it up. I installed the drivers first, then I plugged my phone it. It was detected, began loading drivers...then it just froze my computer. I am running Windows XP, and I had to do a hard reboot. Tried it again, same thing happened. So I emailed RPI to get some support. They did not reply. So I emailed them again, this time they responded and told me to call. I did not really feel like talking to these people, but I called anyway. No answer. Called again, got voicemail. To make a long story short, I'd highly recommend NOT doing business with RPI. Their .71 rating here is very flattering, i'd give them a -10. Oh, and here is something amusing...while RPI would not answer the phone or reply to emails...post a complaint about them on HowardForums.com and watch how fast he replies. I bet he is so busy trying to plug up all the "holes" that he forgets to ship things on time, and support his customers. Now about the cable for my VX6000. I posted my problem on Howard Forums and was directed to a set of USB drivers for the VX5800 phone. For some reason, the VX6000 drivers do not work right on ALL win XP systems. They DID work on my laptop, but I want the cable to work on ALL my computers."
