Good parts, terrible service
"I own a 2007 Volvo XC(). I needed brakes and rotors all the way around. After looking here locally and the cost crazy expensive for parts I looked on line. Found this Parts Geek web site. I chatted with the sales rep about what i needed and he said he had a kit that would cover all the parts I need. The price was right so I ordered them in. When they arrived UPS there were four boxes. One box had brake cleaner and brake fluid. The next box had two rear rotors and the front and rear pads. The other two boxes were the front rotors shipped in their stock boxes. One box wasn't too bad, but the other was heavily damaged. And in none of the boxes were a packing slip of any kind.
I went to my local tire shop for them to put on. The parts were all good except for the rotors that came separately and in damaged boxes. They were the wrong rotors. Since the car was on the rack and torn down i had them order front rotors and put them on.
When I wanted to send the front rotors back, long story short, Parts Geek would not accept them. Because I had used the other parts of the kit. Believe me, this was no "kit"! It was just like any other order. Parts pulled and put in a cardboard box with a shipping label. The same shipping label they threw on the wrong front rotor boxes. Then came all the excuses as to why they wouldn't accept them back.
Will I do business with them again? Never and I will tell you why. First their order taker said they had a kit. Then the some of the order was wrong. If it was an exact fit kit for my car everythng should have been in one box with some kind of declaration that it was a kit. Then it appears that them sending the two wrong front rotors in beat up boxes with no paper work tells me alot. Then the CS reps kept telling me that the warehouse would not accept them back. What warehouse and whos'warehouse. Obviusley not theirs if they don't have control over their actions.
STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!"

"I found Solid Signal while on a search of DTV when the national change from analog to digital took place. I live on the opposite coast as Solid Signal. Since that time I have continued to order their products because with shipping they are much more reasonably priced than products available in my area. I have never been disappointed with anything I have ordered from them. Everything is top of the line, arrived in great shape being packaged to enhance the safety. And to boot what ever I have ordered has arrived in a very short time. Even during the holidays. Believe me when I tell you this, you cannot do better than Solid Signal!
