"I have waited a little before posting this to give a more accurate picture of my ABS experience. I can give nothing but rave reviews for my ABS Awesome 3500. I upgraded to a P4 3GHZ and the machine rocks. My DVD and CDRW are great, awesome sound card and graphics and the price was way below current big name guys (ie. Dell). The experience from picking a good power supply to choosing how much memory you want was flawless. The wait was slightly longer than most big name brands but well worth it! I have purchased over 100 computers for my company and I have always bought Dells. After a fallout with Dell I looked for a good vendor who has a good product. I am very happy with what I have recieved! ABS is quality."

"Ordered the top of the line DEll Dimension 8300. As usual, Dell is easy to order from. I bought a brand new, but refurbished system. According to Dell, it is same as new quality, same warranty and closely checked prior to shipping. Got the system and first impression was..the thing is filthy, covered in dust. No big deal, wipe it down. Then I noted, I paid for a CD R/W and a DVD. I only see the DVD. Stuff happens, I can handle that. Turn on pc, error on boot. I cant get the OS up. The error tells me that the DVD player is not working. I call Dell support. They check bios and that solves nothing. They ask I open the chassis and check the cables. As I do that I note, the faceplate below my DVD player is crooked. Pull off the faceplate and now I have found my CDR/W recessed about 1 inch in the frame. Tell Dell support, I will return this and call customer care in the am. I note that NEITHER the DVD or CDR/W are connected to the moboard, neither cable. I called Dell and they did absolutly nothing to resolve. Think the would have tried to accomadate in some way. I am a buyer for my workplace. I have either directly or indirectly bought 30 Dells. Now, never again. Beware, they have changed!!"
