"I have bought gift cards from multiple sites and from time to time have come across one that doesn't work as expected. I've always been able to work with customer service to get a refund when it is within the warranty guarantee period. With ABC gift cards I had a card that showed a balance but the store couldn't get their computers to accept it. It was well past the end of the guarantee period so I did not expect a refund, especially since the card showed a balance. I did write to customer service to find out if they had any ideas I could try to get the card to work correctly. I received a generic response stating that I was outside the warranty period. I replied indicating I didn't want a refund just seeing if anyone there had any ideas for me to try since they obviously would deal with things a lot more often than I do. Their reply to my second request for some help was "See 45-day warranty". I don't believe anyone read my request either the first or second time. When dealing with a gift card company there can arise problems so good customer service is very important. ABC gift cards does not show any concern to help their customers resolve issues."
